HE-500, LCD2, D5000, DT770, SR80, on a speaker amp (Emotiva mini-X A-100) Project
Hi! I've been working on modifying a pair of Fostex T50RPs to suit my tastes. I've also been looking for a powerful solution to powering them, my Fiio E10K can't keep up with them. I heard about this project and I'm wondering what exactly I'd need to get my T50RPs running off of the Emotiva, I...- Ca5bah

Looking for a combination headphone/speaker amplifier than can power modded Fostex T50RPs and Micca MB42Xs.
If the Emotiva Mini X had a headphone amplifier I'd be all over it, but sadly it doesn't. Do you know if the Audioengine N22 has enough power for the hungry planar magnetics that the T50RPs are?- Ca5bah

Looking for a combination headphone/speaker amplifier than can power modded Fostex T50RPs and Micca MB42Xs.
Hi, I currently am using a Fiio E10K for my modded T50RPs and the old Lepai $20 amp to power the Miccas, both require more power.. I'm looking for a combined solution that can easily power both. My budget is sub-$200 and I'm not having much luck, it appears as if most solutions are $250 or more...- Ca5bah

Looking for a deal on Beyerdynamic HT770's
Quote: Thanks, but that's another one I stumbled across earlier going through eBay. I'd be terrified of buying them and then being SoL if the problem were something like a blown driver. I have a very limited income so there's no way I could risk blowing $100.- Ca5bah

Looking for a deal on Beyerdynamic HT770's
Quote: Ah, damn. I do mean the DT770's. I've spent 2 hours going through eBay and various music accessory stores and haven't found anything within my price range. I was hoping that maybe some Head-Fi members would know a few go-to places for used/refurbished Beyerdynamics.- Ca5bah

Looking for a deal on Beyerdynamic HT770's
I'm looking for a good deal on the above mentioned cans, I have ~$100 to spend, including shipping. I'm totally willing to go used/refurbished for these as I've heard that they are excellent entry level cans. Does anyone know of any sales/classifieds for the cans? I do have paypal/debit at my...- Ca5bah
