Cowon Plenue D
Has anyone had their Plenue D freeze up on them yet? I tried to delete a song directly on the Plenue and I received a "Waiting" sign on the screen. It is still there, can't turn it off using the power button or sleep for that matter. Doesn't respond when I plug in the USB either (except the...- swimmintunes

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
Enjoying the A12s. Fit is perfect in right ear but maybe a little tight in the left. Isolation was great on my two hour flight last night. Have listened to them from three different sources already; IBasso DX100, DX50 and Oppo HA-2 amped iPhone 6. All three sounded as good as I've heard them and...- swimmintunes

Mine too!! I have a 5pm flight to catch so not sure if I'll get them before the weekend. Fingers crossed! I need to update music and charge my IBasso DX100, DX50 and OPPO HA-2 DAC/Amp so they are already to go. Hopefully Impressions posted by end of next week.- swimmintunes

OPPO HA-2 Portable Headphone Amplifier/DAC Discussion Thread
Received my HA-2 yesterday but have only had time to try it with my iPhone 6 and Senn Momentums over ears. Initial impression was very positive. I've never been a fan of the iPhone's music capabilities and have always sided with a separate DAP like, IBasso DX100, 50 or the new Cowan which is on...- swimmintunes

Been on last stage since 3/16 so getting a little frustrated. On the positive side my Oppo HA-2 will most likely be here before the A12 so I'll have a decent DAC/amp to use with them.- swimmintunes

Anybody have workout/exercise rigs?
I've always thought the ipod nano (7th gen) and pico slim would be a good combo but has anyone found a good armband case that would accommodate both and work for running? I personally have always used the cowan D2+ and a pair of IEMs but my cowan has seen better days.- swimmintunes

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
I sent an email asking if they received them from the manufacturer and if they had been tested and cleared. The response avoided a direct answer and just indicated that they are still expecting to start shipping this month (no specific dates given). I would hope that if they still had problems...- swimmintunes

My status is still on shells poured from 2/20 but I just got the following email. Your order is currently at the assembly station and we’ve found that unfortunately your ears are too small to fit the recessed sockets. We will continue your order without that customization. Never thought I had...- swimmintunes

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
I was #135 and funded Feb. 6th. Like you, I don't think there where very many A12's ahead of me. I was hoping my simplicity of having no faceplate or designs would push them out the door earlier but my guess is that they are getting them all ready and when the remodded part comes in from the...- swimmintunes

Apple Plans To Shut Down Beats Music
I really liked MOG but I seem to be in the minority (like most audiophiles) and prefer listening to full albums and in the best format possible. The flexibilty of MOG to change to a more compressed format was nice when you didn't have access to wi-fi or wanted to limit your data usage. I...- swimmintunes

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
Noticed some discussion on here regarding recessed sockets. I had a pair of 1964 Ears Triples w/out the recessed sockets and after removing the cables a number of times they became very loose and would often fall off while I was putting them away, in fact, I ended up losing one on a plane. ...- swimmintunes

Marantz NA7004 Trobleshooting
Didn't see this thread anywhere so I though I'd start one mainly due to some problems I'm having with streaming 16B and 24Bit FLAC files to the NA7004. Any feedback would be appreciated. Issue: I just connected the NA7004 to a wireless bridge via ethernet cable. It recognizes both my...- swimmintunes

Thanks, it didn't do it on initial scan after unplugging but when I played a track from an unlisted album (through directory) it triggered a complete "Media Scanning..." which took a while but worked.- swimmintunes

The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016
Is there a trick to getting the entire SD library to load into Album list? It always shows in the directory but a good % does not show up under Album until a track from it is played forcing the DX50 to scan. Maybe I misread a previous post but I thought this was addressed in 1.2.2 I tried...- swimmintunes

iBasso DX100:24 bit for bit, PG 1> Reviews & Impressions, Downloads, VIDEO, NEW Firmware 1.4.2.
For custom IEMs and other low impedence headphones (I have Momentums) the difference probably doesn't justify the extra cost, however, with something like Senn HD650 I think every penny is accounted for. I bought the DX100 to avoid purchasing a portable amp so I can't compare an amped...- swimmintunes

iBasso DX100:24 bit for bit, PG 1> Reviews & Impressions, Downloads, VIDEO, NEW Firmware 1.4.2.
As a new DX50 owner I just wanted to post how much I appreciate the DX100. All of us early adopters went through the growing pains with the DX100 and I feel have been rewarded. I'm hoping the DX50 can do the same with low impedance headphones but starting to have my doubts. While iBasso...- swimmintunes

DX50 Bug List, Wish List Fix
Is that for 24bit FLAC albums? I did that (use 01, 02, etc) and it did not work. I use MP3tag as well and it takes me a lot longer than that but maybe I'm taking the ultra conservative route because I like to do things by album with all detail as not to lose any info. I have over 30,000...- swimmintunes
