Ultimate Ears UE 900 Discussion and Impressions Thread
I just got the ue 900s and like them so far. Sounds so much clearer than those sony iem I was using. Which eartips do you guys use with them? I tried them right away with sony hybrids, which I've been using with all my iems since I got the TF10.- Poak

Ultimate Ears UE 900 Discussion and Impressions Thread
Thank you for your reply, I just bought a pair of 900s for 225 usd. I originally wanted to purchase westone w40, but the 900s are half the price and I feel I'm gonna get a better price/quality ratio with the 900s, as I'm a fairly casual listener compared to a lot of people on this website. ...- Poak

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
@HiFiChris thanks for the detailed reply My source is my cellphone and occasionally my computer. That's not the issue with my TF10s I think. The problem with my TF10s is really weird. When I first put them on they work OK, but the left earphone gradually loses volume as I keep them on...- Poak

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Do you have any IEM recommandation that has similar sound signature to TF10s but is more recent? 200-500$ price range Surely I could get used to a different sound signature, but it would suck to spend 450$ on W40s to end up disliking them. Edit: I saw UE released UE 900 that are suposed...- Poak

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
hey guys, My TF10's died like 2 years ago after using them for a few years. Those were my first 'high-end' IEM (and favourite IEM I ever tried) and when they died I replaced them with some eh 100$ sony headphones. I'm tired of those so I'm looking to buy a new high-end IEM. So far I'm...- Poak

Looking for new IEM 200$-500$ price range
Hey guys, I mainly listen to electronic music, but I want an IEM that is well-rounded for any genre. The favourite IEM I have ever owned is UE Triple Fi 10 but they broke recently, so I'm looking to replace them. Price range is slightly flexible. Thank you for your recommandations- Poak

Omg.. my 3 years old TF10's just died on me. Not the cable, but the left earphone itself. These were my favourite headphones.- Poak

New headphones for electronic music
the ASG-2 looks awesome, but I can't find a lot of infos about it online. If I can find a pair for 450$ I might be interested. When you say "depending on the housing", what do you mean? both the w3 and ie80 look like good, cheaper alternatives too. I'll consider, thanks for the suggestions.- Poak

New headphones for electronic music
Hey guys I'm looking to buy a new pair of IEM that will be used mostly for electronic music. I listen to anything electronic (ie: Drum and bass, progressive house, trance, chillstep, dubstep, glitch hop). I particularly enjoy melodic/chill songs. My current headphones are TF10's from UE, I...- Poak

^LG Optimus One (LG-P500h). Sorry I don't know much about phones... Otherwise On Itunes with maxed volume on windows 7 I usually set my volume to 22/100, but I guess that depends on the soundcard too so.. I got an old iPod Nano too, I could check what volume I'd use on it too.- Poak

Hey guys, long time since I've been to this forum! Been using my TF10s for many months now and I'm really satisfied. Just wondering, at what volume do you guys listen to your TF10s? For example, I usually listen to them at 55% volume (11/20) on my android phone. Is this too loud...- Poak

TF10s fits perfectly with your criterias. Just consider that they're big for IEMs, but I think they look very good.- Poak

Returning X10's, what to get now?!
Quote: You should try the TF10, they are very detailed, especially the treble. I owned the X10s too in the past and didn't like them. The TF10 are pretty big so they won't be comfy if you have small ear canals though.- Poak

Budget IEM
I don't know much about brainwavz beta, but you should check out the JVC FX67. I own them and they're excellent for a budget earphone (I paid 20$ for them). You can check out this thread if you want more information about them:- Poak

X10?
Hi, I owned both the S4 and the X10 in the past (still own the S4, returned the X10), and I don't really recommend the X10. They're really small and comfy, but this also means their built quality is very questionable. Also, the cable is the same as the S4. The X10's sound signature is very...- Poak
