I don't think it's the actually headband cushioning itself, but more of the extremely hard pleather that they use to cover it. I'm thinking of taking that pleather off and wrapping it with some other softer material.

I cannot wear these cans for more than a hour. What really bothers me most about these cans is the headband cushion. It's so uncomfortable and hard. It almost feels like it's creating a bold spot on the top of my head. Any suggestions?

Yeah i've seen all of those threads and I'm still getting mixed reviews. Some people absolutely love the bass and don't think it's too overpowering but others think that it is too overpowering and the it destroys the mids and highs.   And opps I meant sound stage not surround sound lol.  ...
