Sony MDR-V6/7506 Beyer pad mod with pics! (lots)
I'm at the part in the mod where I'm suppose to take out the foam piece on the pleather pads.... but, the foam seems to be stitched to the pleather pad ..... am I suppose to cut it off? It doesn't seem like it'll peel off ..... ?- badtz

Is there a difference between a surge protector and a line filter? They seem like they would do the same thing. Also, in the case of this Brickwall unit (or any surge protector), since it mainly prevents the spikes in your power, how about when the power becomes slightly too low...- badtz

Recommend some great/cheap earbuds that are NOT sound-isolating ?
Can anyone recommend some great earbuds that are not sound isolating? The shures are interesting (nice looking), but I don't want to isolate a lot of sound. I prefer something that sits in the ear, not into the canal. Any suggestions? sub-$100 preferable.- badtz

compared to the pleather pads, how would the Beyer Pads fit? Does each pad fit completely over your ears? or do they lay on your ears? [still haven't bought a 7506] ? -

Pars, when you say "more power" does that mean the power that the protector is passing on to the equipment is cleaner? Or do you mean the protector can have more outlets on them because of the 20A ? thanks -

Thanks for the AA links, will def. check them out! About the 20 Amp line ...... is this expensive to do? What benefits would one get to run a 20A line into the house versus 15A? [is 15A what currently runs thru most households?] Any word on what the "modular" version is? -
What speaker cable do you use?

Mackie HR824 vs. Blue Sky System One 2.1 ?
Does anyone have any recommendations between the two monitors? price not being an issue, how's the sound of quality of both? [obviously, the HR824 has been highly commended for. I'm unsure of the Blue Sky's]...... any help would be greatly appreciated!- badtz

would the gold plate on the Sony 7506 make a difference in sound quality? over time, will the sound degrade from corrosion, or any other type of degradation ? thanks for any help!!! trying to decide if I should go for the 7506 [spend the extra bucks for it] or just flat out get the v6...- badtz
