Looking for open headphones to complement current Ultrasone pair, ~$250 price range
After doing a lot of research about a year ago I settled on the Ultrasone HFI 680, which have been great. I replaced the stock earpads with velour which improved comfort quite a lot. I use them for music and gaming on my computer. However I am now looking to buy a pair of open cans to get more...- Potamotrygon

RE0's broke / need suggestions for a good replacement
When I am wearing these IEMs, if the left earpiece is in my ear it will not produce sound. If I push on it gently, it starts working as if normal. But when there is negative pressure from the earpiece sealing in my earcanal, it doesn't work. This just started today and the right earpiece works...- Potamotrygon

Attaching/swapping earpieces
Finally managed to get the single flange earpieces on. The biflange are quite easy in comparison. I had to turn it inside out and then was able to squeeze the stem to fit it on. thanks for the help- Potamotrygon

Attaching/swapping earpieces
The smaller double flange has a larger hole, thus it is extremely easier to install. All the others, unfortunately, have a significantly smaller opening :(- Potamotrygon

Attaching/swapping earpieces
I got a set of Hifiman RE0 in the mail today. They include a few different earpieces (the rubber bit, olive-style and double flange). Is there some magic method to putting them on? Removal is easy, but I discovered that the hole in the earpiece is significantly smaller than the output side of...- Potamotrygon

Best headphones ~$100-125
I have been reading great reviews of the Ultrasone HFI-580, in particular that they are better than the AT M50s at a cheaper price. Thoughts? Strong bass doesn't bother me. Quote: Quote: I might as well just buy the 840, it's in my price range. ...- Potamotrygon

Best headphones ~$100-125
I tried the AD700s again and you are right, the leakage is very noticeable at higher volumes. Are the SR125i's worth the extra money, even without an amp? Or should I stay at the SR80 level?- Potamotrygon

Best headphones ~$100-125
My apologies if this gets asked incessantly, but I don't know what keywords to search for I am looking for some headphones to replace the POS earbuds that came with my sansa MP3 player and also to use on my computer for music/gaming. Recently I learned that the type of music is a...- Potamotrygon
