Schiit Vali 3 : Impressions Thread
I’ve had a sleepless night and been listening to the Vali 3 all night. I swapped out a few 6922’s with the adapter and listened with the 5670’s as well. I had purchased a GE 5 star 5670 and a JAN GE 5670. So, I’ve come to a different conclusion that the 5670’s sound much better to my ears. I’m...- Magic77

Are cheap headphones bad?
If you want to spend a little more than $99; I would recommend the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X for $149. These are very good headphones for the price.- Magic77

Loki Mini Impressions
I have the Loki Mini+ too. I had contacted Schiit about the heat from the Loki. They said it’s normal for it to get very warm and sometimes hot, but it won’t cause any problems.- Magic77

AKG K361/K371
Just dropped my 371’s and damaged the left driver. They are out of warranty. I’ve contacted AKG to see if they sell a replacement driver that I could install myself. I’m good at soldering if that is needed. Has anyone else repaired the 371 with this kind of problem? Just curious. Thanks Update...- Magic77

Austrian Audio HI-X55
Does anyone know of an alternative ear pad replacement for the Austrian Audio headphones? I spent the $70 for the ear cushion replacement kit and the ear pads started tearing apart in 3 months. I refuse to spend $70 every few months for ear pads. It was the same problem when I got the headphones...- Magic77

Yes, the balanced headphone cable with XLR connection should definitely work since you are connecting to the balanced inputs on the Midgard.- Magic77

Schiit Midgard - Impressions Thread
So, if you are using the XLR inputs on the Midgard and plugging in your headphones into the single ended output, that may be causing a problem. Try connecting to the unbalanced inputs RCA, that should work. Do you have RCA Cables?- Magic77
