They are closed? I thought they are open? So is the noise normal? Edit: I'm sure they are open, maybe you mean something different.

Hello, i have an issue. My father noticed that if you press the headphones to your ears, there is a not really squeeking sound but a noise the headphones are making which is audible. Even when the hp are not connected. Has anyone the same phenomenon or should i contact the Hifiman support?

Really? Thats great. Isn't the HE1000 a 1500 bucks headphone? Why are the HE400SE better than the HE1000?

I've bought the HE400SE for my dad. After listening to them i like them better than my Hifiman HE-500 (which cost me 500 bucks) The HE400SE have a little bit more air to them and the Bass is also very nice. Idk i just like them better. The sound is grand and transparent. Great Headphone.

I've just bought the K240 Studio for my Dad. All i can say for 70 bucks they are sounding good. Not as good as my HE-500 but hey those cost way more. Also they look beautiful and very sturdy.

I love my Akg K501 so i think i would enjoy the K812 Pro.

AKG K142HD were my first more or less better headphones which led me into the audiophile world so i have a weak spot for AKG headphones. I would really love to hear the AKG 812 Pro one day but I'm happy with my Hifiman HE-500 as it is.

I bought my HE-500 used for 420 bucks about 6 years ago. Still enjoying these marvelous headphones.

I've noticed i have to turn the magni 3 off for a few minutes then the temperature goes down. Will have to do it from time to time.

Does anyones Schiit Magni 3 gets really hot in these summerdays? Is there a risk of catching fire?

I love my HE-500. I've replaced the headband on them since it broke but for 80 bucks i got a new one. I don't have the need to update my HE-500. I will use them for many years to come for sure.

I have a question. Is it better to use the Mojo 2 with 19200 Samplerate and higher even when i listen to 44100 Samplerate music through Foobar? Or should i use 44100 hz like the standard music rate? thx

True, i have the opinion that cables don't do much. If you don't enjoy the dac with a cheaper cable you probably won't enjoy it with an expensive cable either.

Hmm, my Mojo 2 sounds good when it comes to soundstage and layering. No problems here. Compared to my onboard soundcard in my PC it's more centered and deep at the same time. I'm sorry to hear you had no fun with the Mojo 2. Mind you i have more than 1000 hours playtime on my Mojo 2.

My Mojo 2 adds also clarity and detail so i skip the MM2. But yeah MM is great.
