Recommendations for upgrading from Fiio X5 (1st Gen)?
Forgot the mention the Shanling m1 is also on my radar. The scroll wheel on it seems fine tbh, but touch screen would be nice.- SikkNazty

Recommendations for upgrading from Fiio X5 (1st Gen)?
Woah, that is correct. Lol, completely overlooked that! Yikes. I would not like that side turn dial to navigate the ui. Big no no for me. Do the other 4 I have listed compete with the X5 1st Gen for SQ though?- SikkNazty

Best gaming mice
The new Logitech G Pro Wireless is supposed to be legendary. I've used the non-wireless version and loved it. The sensor and construction feels rock solid, and I'm sure it's the same with the wireless version. Plus, the functionality of it is awesome (magnetic side buttons to swap them in and...- SikkNazty

Recommendations for upgrading from Fiio X5 (1st Gen)?
Hello everyone, I appreciate the help with my previous thread figuring out which IEMs to buy (landed on the iBasso IT01). Now I'd love some help with finding a replacement for my sluggish but still functional Fiio X5 (1st Gen) music player. Now it has been quite a long time since the Fiio X5...- SikkNazty

'Gaming' Headset Recommendation for a disgruntled Logitech User
Get an ~$80 set of full-sized cans and pair it with a ModMic 4.0 (cheaper than the 5.0 and still a great mic).- SikkNazty

Logitech G Pro for FPS games if you have small hands. If not, go with a Zowie mouse. Can't go wrong!- SikkNazty

Which headphones do you use for PC gaming?
Currently using Beyerdynamic DT1770 Pro's w/ Dekoni Elite Velour earpads hooked up to an SMSL M6. Using a ModMic 4.0 to round it all out. People constantly ask how I hear certain things in CSGO, haha!- SikkNazty

Looking for IEM under $200
Nope, I have the standard EDC. Maybe I'm just used to a more extreme V-shaped sound profile? Idk haha! I mainly listen to my Beyerdynamic DT1770 on the SMSL M6 dac, boosting bass by ~4dbs and decreasing high trebles by ~4dbs. This is while using Dekoni Velour earpads, which push my ears further...- SikkNazty

Looking for IEM under $200
Well I guess the overwhelming recommendations for the IT01 here and the sound descriptions from reviews align nicely with what I'm looking for in an IEM. Plus it's half the price of my budget, so can't go too wrong with saving 50% of my money! I'll be ordering a pair of the IT01's in black...- SikkNazty

Looking for IEM under $200
Thank you for the suggestions! I'm a little worrisome about the UE900s after reading reviews and how the build quality and materials UE have used for that particular IEM don't feel premium or up to par for an IEM that had an MSRP of $400, and even still for a $200 price point. :( But the...- SikkNazty

Looking for IEM under $200
Wow, I was reading up on the IT03 before your post which is sadly out of my price range. Idk how I didn't see a suggestion or related link to the IT01 when reading IT03 reviews. But the IT01 sounds very inviting to buy! I'm going to hopefully try and find some direct comparisons to the ones I...- SikkNazty

Looking for IEM under $200
Hello everyone! I'm currently in search of an IEM that is an all-around great product for various types of music and is an improvement from my experience with the two ~$80 IEM's. Although I will say I mostly listen to electronic and hip-hop, I do have a good selection of classical, rock, metal...- SikkNazty

Dekoni Elite Velour Ear Pads for Beyerdynamic DT/T (Review)
Successfully got the Elite Velours onto my DT1770 Pro's. It took a good 45-60 min to get both ear-pads on because of the stitching around the velour lip that is supposed to slide into the ridge surrounding the ear-cups. It's quite a tight fit, but using a credit card or cardboard/cardstock of...- SikkNazty

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
Thanks for the headsup! I'm sure the AKG cable will be plenty for me. I won't be using it portability too often but enough to warrant the choice of a closed back. I'll be using it mostly on my PC.- SikkNazty

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I have heard of the MMX 300, but I want a standalone headphone instead of a headset. I have a stand alone microphone now and would like a really nice pair of cans to pair it with the can accommodate gaming and music. I'm going to just assume the 1770 and 1990 have way better sound quality than...- SikkNazty

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I'm just going to jut in here and ask if anyone has played games, specifically FPS, with the 1770 or 1990? I play a lot of CSGO and am looking for a headphone upgrade in the $600 range to replace my PC360 headset. Is the sound-stage substantially better on the 1990 than the 1770 (1990 being an...- SikkNazty

Upgrading from Fiio X5 (1st Gen)
So I'm looking to buy a new DAP. Currently I'm using the Fiio X5 (1st gen), which was my first venture into the audiophile universe. After looking around, I've "narrowed" my search down to the Onkyo DP-X1, Fiio X7, Pioneer XDP-100R, Astell & Kern AK120, and Astell & Kern AK Jr. I purely...- SikkNazty

REVIEW: Ostry KC06A - A New Winner
I plugged these into my external SoundBlaster X-Fi soundcard and they came ALIVE. They're damn good not amped, but the bass definitely needs a little boost for my musical tastes.- SikkNazty
