They were back-ordered on the Beyer website, so I had to search around. Found them for $255 at ProAudioStar.

It may not be a tactile switch, but the context in which tactile is used can also mean the type of feedback that the fingers receive to let the fingers know the switch has engaged...and there are soft tactile red switches. They aren't all linear.

I currently have a Filco tenkeyless Majestouch 2 w/brown switches. I had the same w/red switches, but it had the tenkey pad. I liked the tactile feel of the reds a little more, but tenkeyless is ideal to me, for gaming.

I am interested in buying a pair of these, but I heard they are a tight fit for big heads. From ear lobe, over the top of my head to the other ear lobe, I measure 18 inches or 460 mm. Can anyone tell me if the momentum extends far enough to cover that?

It's hard to find any info on the T51p. I wonder if everyone is apprehensive because of the T50p's reputation? 

  I would consider the M500's if they isolated better, not to mention they are over $100 more than the 1350's

I read that some Best Buys carried the DT1350, unfortunately the local ones do not. I might have to take a trip to Dallas. There is a place to audition high-end Grados and Senns too, while I'm there.

Only judging by cans I've actually heard and not dream cans, I would have to go with D2000's if I could only have 1. It's fun, rich and engaging. Sounds good out of my portable and my home rig. 2 sets would be LCD-2 for home and W4R's for portability.

I hated the Sony XB700's (sounded like mids were being played through mud) and Hifiman RE0 (sounded good, but the fit was absolutely horrible.)
