Koss Portapro Thread
regarding any dirt getting into the drivers, not really much of a problem, unless one has severe OCD, i guess. i've used them outdoors on extremely diverse conditions (dusty/wet/humid) and haven't had much of a problem.- boogienights

Koss Portapro Thread
shouldnt be much of a problem fitting them into either the portapros or the ksc75. i'd post my pics, but the foamies i have on them are already ratted out and starting to fray (had them on these things for a couple of years already). trust me, it will fit.- boogienights

Koss Portapro Thread
if you want some nice thick earpads to go with your portapros and your ksc75s, i recommend getting these from plantronics: http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/ear-cushion-supraplus $4.95 a pop. been using them on both of my koss units.- boogienights

Best phones for running
i almost got run over by a guy on a bike while using my jvc marshmallows and taking a brisk walk. there has got to be a safer way of doing this. I'd love to have the same open feature as that of the ksc75 or the portapro, without having to deal with the mess that comes with the earpads after a...- boogienights

Initial Impressions: Brainwavz HM3
just got a pair for 63 usd, factoring in shipping here. not bad. need to burn them in though, and while it can be driven by a portable, an amp just seems necessary as i had to turn my volume way up just to get it sounding where i need them to be. wish we had it on sale here for around 40 usd...- boogienights

Looking for Decent Headphones for Running
Quote: I have the Meelec M6, and have tried it while working out. While the design looks like it will stay on as it wraps over your ear, it will not stay in when you start sweating, even when using the tri-flange tips. Sad though, as it has a relatively decent sound signature and would have...- boogienights

Heavily modified PortaPro wood cups included
let them haters hate. you got some skills on you anyways. anyways, nice mod. i still havent kramer'd mine. the most i have done is to get donut foam pads (plantronics) to replace the stock pads, which were not dense enough.- boogienights

soundmagic PL30 user manual
if you need a manual for this, then you must be a tad-bit over cautious, i'd say. the knob is set from end to end, and if you havent touched it at all since you bought it, its set at FLAT. moving it to the other end gives you the bass boost. that wasnt so hard, was it?- boogienights

Ksc75
Quote: I disagree with this. It doesnt struggle with the bass. a lot of the issues with bass to people here are really due to incorrect fit on the ears. case in point, try pinning them tighter aginst your ears and you will hear the bass. this is the main reason why some people modded...- boogienights

PortaPro Survey
build quality is definitely not an issue with the Portapros. mine are still standing after 2 years of sun, rain and sweat.- boogienights
