    Audio-GD NFB-12

Quote: That's what I gleaned as well so I ended up just springing for the Sparrow version A. I've read that it works well with my D2000 so all is not lost. To all who got in the pre-order, let us know how it sounds when you get it!

    Audio-GD NFB-12

Hopefully Kingwa is still taking orders. I'm trying to purchase the NFB-12 for use with my Denon D2000. At this price point, it's such a steal. With all of the good remarks about the Compass, I'd be stupid not to try it out.

Quick Question: Keces 151 + LD I+, will I be impress?

Quote: Your posts were very helpful in my researching (I remember the avatar), thank you for taking the time to post your impressions. I did find the keces seller on ebay so I'll be purchasing it from him in the coming days. As far as DACs go, I don't think I can go wrong with this...

Quick Question: Keces 151 + LD I+, will I be impress?

I'm going to send my D2000 off to be recabled in the next few weeks, in the mean time I'm trying to completely upgrade my audio setup. This is for a desktop setup, the source is my 2009 Unibody MBP. Pretty much, is this a good starting point equipment wise?   MBP > Keces 151 > LD I+ > Denon...

Quote: Thanks for the input, it was very helpful.   Another Question: Denon D2000 vs Audio Technica ATH-A900  not AD900. I've literally spent hours researching this. From what I've gathered:   A900: Good bass, lacking mids, decent highs AD900: Bass, what bass? great mids, great...

    Audio-technica m50~

I've had my M50s for quite some time now and they've never really softened. They are comfortable for short listening periods but they are not suitable for long ones. They do clamp down quite a bit. I have a medium sized head and they can get uncomfortable quick. I mean, I really love the sound...

Currently own: ATH-M50s   Want to upgrade to something a bit better that's still easily drivable. I do like my bass but I like it crisp and refined, not muddy. Right now I'm looking at the ATH-A900 or the ATH-AD900. Not looking at any Beyerdynamics, just not my thing. Also not a fan of...

Quick advice for a blooming audiophile? LD MK3 w/ AKG K701?

Just messing around, I hooked up my yamaha rx-v457 stereo receiver as an amp. Mbp > stereo receiver > M50s and WOW. I read that the M50s don't really need an amp but damn, they sound great now! I've never heard this kind of bass through the M50s, it's amazing.    I've read a couple of...

Quick advice for a blooming audiophile? LD MK3 w/ AKG K701?

I haven't been a member for long but I do enjoy lurking. I did quite a bit of research on here before I bought my first pair of headphones. I finally settled on a pair of ATH-M50s and I've thoroughly enjoyed them but I think it's time to move on.    With the M50s, I read you didn't really...

The Audio Technica M50 studio monitor thread

First post here! I'm Neil :hi:   Just picked up a pair of these after some research and I definitely love them right out of the box. I'm running them through the burn in period as people have mentioned, I hope that's a good thing... Anyway, I look forward to posting here more in the future! ...
