i have the k10 and the truth, they are very different imo and should not be compared. the K10 is also much more expensive (from memory of what i paid)- angelo898

$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
so sorry about the delay i spent a few hours last week with a friend at an audio store listening to the stock and the WindowsX firmware modded Calyx Ms (this way we could compare directly). While a portion of the time spent there was spent charging the DAP (thanks Calyx M battery life)...- angelo898

Review by 'angelo898' on item 'Jays q-JAYS v2.0'
A little bit on the Q Jays 2.0 (not designed for Audiophiles) So I got this for a week and a bit during the Q Jays 2.0 Australian tour. Firstly, a little about me Personally, I am a person who tends to gravitate to high end equipment, but have recently started looking at the low-mid end...- angelo898

its good to know that its only mild. I reckon if it works and you cant find any scratches on it, can be considered brand new with just a bump or 2 on the box during shipping. Additionally, now that youve had some time with it, any scratches could be contributed by you so youd have a hard time...- angelo898

A little about the Shozy Alien
see, there it goes to show that hiss is hard to measure since it depends on the headphones/earphones used, etc. the hiss i heard was during the songs, like during the soft bits. personally, i wouldnt worry about it with the alien rose gold. I actually had the alien v1, but it died before...- angelo898

A little about the Shozy Alien
hi there, i reckon this is one of the tougher to measure issues atm. this mostly depends on what the user uses as their headphone/earphone of choice. I personally find that there is not enough hiss to give me problems with music when it is playing and can detect no hiss when i am not...- angelo898
