My first attempt failed last night. I tried over iPhone, both devices (phone and headphone) were on charge but the update failed to install. I deleted the headphones off my device list on my iPhone, popped out the battery, paired the devices again, then tried the process again - success! it took...

I'm having issues with the right side cutting out when running (don't plan on using them for running in the future, it was just a test to see how well they would stay on my head). The music seems to cut out with a noticeable pop in the right ear.

Well i just spoke to Shure (UK) about the left cable issue and they said that they've only received a handful back since it was released.  I mentioned that some people have returned them and received news ones with the same issue, but they said since the release, they've had several batches come...

I'm having to send mine back to Shure due to the cable issue.  I've just contacted them to ask if the issue has been fixed or not, since i don't have the time to keep sending them back.  Hopefully get a response by tomorrow.

My iPhone 4 seems slightly underpowered when using my W4's, especially compared to my MBP.  Do these require an amp to fully drive them from an iPhone?

What sort of volume are we looking at?

My Westone 4s have just broken :( I've only had them for a few days and the left earphone seems to have a problem...it hasn't quite stopped working but it's a lot quieter than the right one. Any ideas?

The long extension cable that came with my SE530 have broken twice now and now i'm on my 3rd cable, which is also starting to break! Could you guys recommend me an alternative?    Thanks
