I went up to bestbuy to look around and ended up getting the klipsch s4's. So far I am happy and ill see how they get over time.

I listen to a lot of rap, metal, and techno and i'm looking for some bass heavy earphones for around $100. Any suggestions?

I had the XB300's and I didn't really like the sound or build quality. They had bass but nothing else, I like my ATH-M50's a lot and was just wondering what the best amp would be for them. Does not necessarily have to amplify bass but I would like it.

I'm looking for an amp about $50 or less that would would be good with my ATH-M50's. I have a fiio e5, I like it but I feel it only makes the music louder and does not much improve the overall quality. So, any thoughts?

I was actually looking at what exactly you told me to get.  Have you owned or tried a pair before?   Also thanks for the welcome to the forum. I like the forums and will probably frequent them from now on.

Ill be spending about $100 - $250 on a pair of new headphones. I'm looking for something with lots of bass and decent mids and highs. I would also like a cheap amp for about >$50.  Any thoughts?
