I was actually considering making my own. I have a regular micro to mini usb cable, but I'd like to shorten it, and its not an otg host cable. Where can I find some info on how to modify/make my own?

That is outrageously overpriced! I'm gonna have to keep searching for something more affordable. Am I the only one who wants to use a portable amp/dac without a bunch of extra cabling? A regular otg cable and a usb to mini usb cable just seems excessive.. :-/

From what I understand a USB otg cable is required. Not sure why though. I purchased a micro USB to mini USB cable and nothing happened. I have a go vibe mini USB dac, and it only works with the otg cable, plugged into the USB to mini USB cable..kind of excessive and unnecessary in my opinion...
