What are the best small/medium headphones for under $60?
Quote: New. The HD25's are pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, it's just that they cost 3x what I want to spend. I'm sure there is something good out there for under $60, there are lots of positive reviews on amazon over a number of promising candidates. I just wanted to check here...- 1967cutlass

What are the best small/medium headphones for under $60?
Looking for something relatively small, very comfortable, well built, good sound quality (obviously), the more bass the better. I mostly listen to trance. Will be thrown in a bag with a laptop and/or used with an mp3 player. Any suggestions are appreciated, it looks like there are lots of...- 1967cutlass

MEE M6
I just got mine in the other day. Mine came with the tri-flanges and a hard case. Anyway, they're pretty much awesome. I mainly listen to trance these days so that might be part of it. I also got the m9's, and while they're good as well, the m6 is definitely a step up. My only complaints are...- 1967cutlass

MEElectronics M6 Review
Hopefully the bass cleans up and the highs open up after burning in, if so these will be great. The m9's are also pretty good out of the box, not as good as the m6 probably, but a lot different sounding.- 1967cutlass

Bicycle-Fi!
Here is my bike... It's great. It weighs under 22lbs and is smooth as silk. I really love this bike. I'm rebuilding this with dura ace 7 speed right now. It's a good bike, the ride is kinda stiff but very confident. More suited for a criterium than a road race. Eventually I want a...- 1967cutlass

The Canon Thread
No offense but you guys have been less than helpful. I've heard the "you need to spend n (your budget) x2 for a better [insert electronic/car/cycling item here] or it's not worth it" line on every fourm on the internet. Well this is reality, and despite me being a fairly experienced amateur...- 1967cutlass

I'm not spending 900 on a lens right now. $400 is pushing it. Do any of you actually have experience with the tamron 18-200? It's a bit slow but being as I can get one for $170 I would also buy a 1.8/50 for low light. Good budget combo?- 1967cutlass

The Canon Thread
I didn't have something specific in mind, I just want a sharper picture than the kit lens provides. 17 or 18 to whatever... 50 and up? works for me. The 1.8 was impressive, I guess if I could have that but slightly better color and a more versatile range I'd be set. Even the cheap sigma...- 1967cutlass

What's the best all around lens for an XTI for ~200? The kit lens is just bad, I was looking at the tamrom 18-200 but some of the reviews make it sound questionable. I was thinking about getting the 1.8/50 again but the range limits the usefulness and I don't really like changing lenses.- 1967cutlass

DT770 too much bass?? Good Sounding?
I have the new-er 770/80's and they're decently neutral. The bass isn't overpowering after they've burned in a bit, same with the harsh treble. They're surprisingly detailed and have good instrument separation and some soundstage. They can be sensitive to recordings though, if the recording has...- 1967cutlass

Got my DT770 pro's
The 990 is open. The 990 has less bass (but still a lot and it's clean) and a bit more of a smooth sound. the 990 is a lot harder to drive well, especially out of a laptop or DAP. I guess most discerning listeners would say the 990's sound better but I would just get whatever you want more...- 1967cutlass

Got my DT770 pro's
Right now my laptop is driving them and to be honest it's just fine. I use my receiver as an amp, which it does quite well, but I haven't tried plugging the 770's into that yet. I got them like a half our ago, but for me that's enough time to make a decision on them (I've owned probably 40...- 1967cutlass
