Looking for something relatively small, very comfortable, well built, good sound quality (obviously), the more bass the better. I mostly listen to trance. Will be thrown in a bag with a laptop and/or used with an mp3 player. Any suggestions are appreciated, it looks like there are lots of options from beyerdynamic, audio technica, and other good companies.

New. The HD25's are pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, it's just that they cost 3x what I want to spend. I'm sure there is something good out there for under $60, there are lots of positive reviews on amazon over a number of promising candidates. I just wanted to check here to see if there is any kind of consensus on what the best value out there is, currently.

Sony MDR-V6 sounds like a good fit for all those things you're asking for.

Superlux HD668B. They are not really small but quite cheap and very good sounding.
