I have a couple concerns before i do this mod. Isn't the foam there to create a bigger soundstage for gaming and 3d audio? Does removing it reduce the soundstage or dampen 3d capabilities at all? Also, I have read reviews that the treble seemed harsh after the mod, has anyone found this to be...

I have the PX 100's and I love em. Haven't tried any of the others.

AD700's. They sounded great and were excellent for games... but they were WAY too big for my head and extremely ugly to look at. Returned for some HD555's and am very happy.
