How to stream audio over wifi to USB DAB
I would like to stream audio from my computer, tablet or phone over wifi to my USB DAC. So I’m looking for some kind of wifi receiver with an USB out. Something like the Google Chromecast Audio but with usb instead of mini jack. Does this even exist?- Weps

Ground loop isolator to get rid off static noise?
When I listen to music on my computer, I have some static noise (I can hear it very clear between two songs). I've got this with all my sound cards (internal and external). A friend advised me to connect my amp on a different plug than my computer, like a plug in the bathroom or kitchen, so I...- Weps

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
I received my HD 650 today. First impressions are good. For the moment, I can only compare with my Beyerdynamic DT880. The only thing that bothers me is that the HD 650 clamps too hard. As result the sound is like you're listening to it in a small little box. The DT880 doesn't clamp at all...- Weps

Headphone amp instead of a receiver?
I just wanted to let you know I finally bought a dedicated headphone amp, because I noticed my Marantz receiver couldn't power my DT880 enough. I bought the Little Dot MKV. The sound is slightly better (which is good as the Marantz sound was already great) and the power issue is gone. Me very happy!- Weps

Looking for a SS amp for DT880 and HD650
There was a time I thought I didn't need a dedicated headphone amp because my Marantz SR5003 receiver did a good job, but now I'm facing some power issues. The Marantz just can't power my DT880 enough. So I need a real headphone amp. I read hundreds of topics about lots of amps. One pairs...- Weps

The DT990/600 impressed me
Can someone compare the bass of the DT990 with the DT770? I have a DT880 at the moment and I'm planning to buy the HD650, but maybe the DT990 would be a better upgrade. I'm looking for a tiny little bit more bass. I listened to the DT770 but that one has too much bass for me.- Weps

Phenix G3/Chinese Earmax Clone
I received my G3 and did some quick listening, which was pretty shocking. I don't know yet if that's good or bad. I must say, my first impressions are not really wow, but I might change my opinion after a lot more listening. I think it takes some time for me to adapt to a new sound. When...- Weps

What exactly are the differences between the G3 and the G3-T7? Is it just the tubes, or are there other differences?- Weps

Headphone amp instead of a receiver?
Okay, I guess I should stick to my Marantz for a while. But what about the difference with a tube amp. My Marantz is comparable with a solid state amp, right? Some people say cans like the DT880 need a tube amp... Yes I know, I should try before buy, but I do not know people with (tube) amps.- Weps
