Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
They replaced them with a brand new pair at the Bose store, I bought them from Amazon originally and they were cool about that. Hopefully the switch on these doesn't fail as easily.- ayn

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
Had these since day 1, love them. But switch stopped working properly about a week ago; before, I could flip the switch to cycle between paired Bluetooth devices, mine stopped doing that about a week ago, I had to use the app to switch devices, which is fine I guess, as long as I had a connected...- ayn

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
5.0 is not a big deal, it shouldn't prevent you from buying the QC35. It will be a few years til your devices and headphones will support newer codecs or profiles that take advantage of the higher bandwidth. And even at that bw, these cans aren't good enough to sound any different between high...- ayn

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
I ordered these and they should be here tomorrow. I made the compromise on SQ for the convenience of Bluetooth more than a year ago with the Beats Solo2 wireless, bluetooth is amazing and they're great for walking around the city, SQ is tolerable, I listen to mostly podcasts anyway so that's...- ayn

Beats Solo 2: Is the Head-Fi community willing to give these a fair chance?
After reading this thread and Tyll's review I picked up a pair of the Hello Kitty solo 2 for my wife. I've only listened with them for a few hours and am pretty impressed with the sound. Obviously for 250 I can find better cans but they won't have hello kitty on them lol. Anyone got the Solo 2...- ayn

Westone Adventure Series - New Dynamic Driver for rugged activities: Impressions and Discussion
Intrigued. Waiting on reviews, possibly would replace my ath-cp500i running cans with these. The AT worked well, done more than 500 miles with them, but SQ isn't great.- ayn

iBasso D7 vs Audioengine D1 vs?<200$
Thanks the_dong146 for the heads up, just ordered one. I got this mainly so I won't have to plug audio jack into my Mac, instead they speakers and cans will go to the amp and USB to the back of my Thunderbolt display. :)- ayn

Custom IEM recommendations
I think I was one of the first to get my Sensaphonics 2X-S remade, and yes, they basically made me a brand new pair of IEMs for $300, which is a pretty good deal IMO... You can only do this within 3 years of your original purchase date however, so after 3 years you won't be able to get them...- ayn

IEM isolation
If you use the foamies, the isolation is pretty damn good in my experience. The flanges tips provide very poor isolation IMO, but this depends on your ears, my gf finds the foamies painful to use and the flanges provide good isolation, probably because her ear canals are slightly narrower.- ayn

Got my Sensaphonics 2X-S back after repair
Baby wipes are much wetter than the Audio Wipes you get from an audiologist. They should work as long as you let them dry out before you store them in an air tight container. It never crossed my mind that moisture would be a problem so I used to wipe them and put them back in the box right away...- ayn

Got my Sensaphonics 2X-S back after repair
btw, I mentioned that for some odd reasons I didn't think they sounded that good initially, well, now they do! I totally forgot about burn-in!! after 4 days they certainly sound awesome, and now I'm burning them in overnight with my ipod... I guess I've been away from this board too long and...- ayn

Got my Sensaphonics 2X-S back after repair
I'm very curious on the E500's as well, I've been rocking my OE apple cans so I can't wait for them to become available... I'll find somewhere to audition them when they're out. I'll probably still prefer custom fit over universal ones though... I'm definitely gonna get the PTH acc though, that...- ayn

Got my Sensaphonics 2X-S back after repair
Little bit of background; I got my 2X-S about 2 years ago, they were flawless for about a year and a half. About 6 months ago I started cleaning them with baby wipes, which turned out to be a very bad idea as moisture got inside the IEMs and pretty much destroyed them. Basically, moisture got...- ayn

How the 5G 60GB gets better battery life than the 30GB?
Dude, it just has a bigger battery... update: I stand corrected, though I think the battery on the 60gb is probably bigger, it does have more RAM per iLounge: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/new...s-performance/- ayn
