I tried this in the past, and I had a very, very difficult time distinguishing between FLAC and LAME V3. Even taking the possibility of future transcoding into account, it's almost impossible for me to justify lossless' larger file size.

If Black Sabbath is heavy metal, then Led Zeppelin is heavy metal. They're too similar. I've always figured that if the members of Zeppelin got together and said "hey, let's write a whole album of songs like 'Dazed and Confused' and 'Immigrant Song'", they'd wind up making "Master of Reality".

Personally, I'd rather just install WindowBlinds and LiteStep. Get all of the widget/module functionality of the Vista desktop without having a good chunk of your screen eaten up by oversized clocks and gauges and whatnot. Plus, I'd imagine that LiteStep uses less system resources than Explorer...
