Thanks for your input. I am looking for more fun, more bassy headphones to use at times instead of my ATH-W3000ANV. Perhaps MSR7 would suit this need.

I am way too lazy to go through the thread... =D How is the bass compared to M50X's bass? Tried my friends new ATH-M50X like two hours ago and the bass was very nice with pop music.

Everyone has the freedom to have many headphones or just one. Personally, I couldn't live with having rock-headphones, pop-headphones and metal-headphones. I want to be able to listen to everything without changing headphones several times.

I am very interested in getting these and balancing them... But I don't know how they would compare to my ATH-W3000ANV. Would I ever actually use them after first week. =D

It ended quite a while ago, resulting in a rather nice headphone setup. No expensive speakers coming to this room. DSPs in anywhere except in car are too much against my philosophy. This apartment just isn't suitable for a good listening room.   Can't give anything to your research. I aim for...

Once in a while I get this urge to try something new just for the sake of it. But still enjoying ATH-W3000ANV so much. Excellent headphones. = ) Maybe I just need to upgrade my power cords next. xD

I'm pretty sure that Luxman knows what to do... I'm not opening my amp, that's for sure! = ) Someone could measure it though, from the connector to the chassis, no need to open it.

Well, my experience with different amps isn't that huge, but I must still most sincerely recommend this. This is all I could ask for in this setup. = )

Need to admit that I didn't read the whole text, but in my opinion, the shadows look normal and you exaggerated the differencies. Also, from the pretty tight crop you can't say how the environment is.

That crossed my mind once or twice too and I could probably use that as my excuse. =D But I really don't know if it affects the actual volume heard on the phones.
