I just unplugged the ear pieces and blew into them. They seem to work like they did before now.

Really? When I first bought them I burned them in for about 48 hours.    I've been using them for about 500 hours, if my math is right.

I've owned a pair of Sennheiser IE8is since July 15, 2011. For the past few months, they've been great, I have the bass all the way up. But I just noticed today that today the bass is there, but it's a lot weaker than it was before, like it's on level 1. Is it possible I blew out the headphones? 

I just bought the MIE2i model (Bose IE2 with iPhone/iPod controls), I quite like them. Maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me, but it seems to sound better the more I listen to them. Also, they are extremely comfortable.

After spending probably 600-700 dollars just replacing 99 dollar headphones I got a Triple.Fi 10 (which when I bought it was 99 dollars) because it had replaceable cables. And within a year the cable needed replacing. But it's nice only having to spend 20 dollars instead of 400.

UE makes a cable with a single button and a mic. The single button does next and previous and play/pause, but it doesn't do volume.   It's ridiculous that no one has made a replacement cable that has a mic and three buttons for the iPhone and iPod. I've been searching for a while.

My cable went out after 8 months of use.    And yeah when is the Triple.Fi replacement coming?

I bought the Triple.Fi 10's for a 99 dollars, and at 99 dollars they're great. I think I'm going to get the Sleek Audio SA7 next though.

The reviews on Amazon are surprisingly really good. But all of them are Amazon Vine (because it hasn't been released yet). So take that into consideration.

I'm looking for a replacement cable for my Triple.Fi 10 that has the iPod Shuffle/iPhone controls along with a mic on the cord. Any company selling something like that?   And I don't mean a cord from the Triple.Fi 10vi but more like a cord from Klipsch X10i.

Does anyone know of a third party cable that works with the Sennheiser IE8 that has a mic and three button controls for the iPhone?

BTW, the Ultimate Ear cables are now in stock. Although I decided to buy the 10vi cable, might as well upgrade.

Honestly guys, Apple Lossless. The file sizes are basically the same as well.

If you guys have iPods you should convert your FLAC music to Apple Lossless. Lossless is lossless, so converting a lossless format to another lossless format is still lossless. Lossless, there I broke my record of saying lossless.

Has anyone been going back to songs you didn't really care for only to found that after listening to them with the triple fi 10's, that you really like them?

I keep on trying the Comply's but there isn't enough of a bass increase to justify using them, you seem to miss the nuances with the foam tips. I find the silicone tips to have plenty of bass if you have a proper seal.

Am I the only person who finds the Triple Fi comfortable? Maybe it's because I don't think about it, and it just starts feeling like it's not there.

This maybe is not a big deal for you guys, but I'm upgrading from a Sony MDR-EX500, so this is a big upgrade. But a couple things that just gave a smile to my face, I can actually hear when a different person is singing along with the lead singer. And then this guitar part came in and I was like...

I'm not really sure what hockeyb213 is talking about. From what I've read on here you do need to burn them in.

I find I have to put the IEM's in and then wrap the cord over my ears. Also have you tried lifting up on your ear and then inserting them?
