No, I am considering buying a QP1R though. The optical out feature would be a benefit to me in the situation I would use the device in. Not critical though. I didn't even think they released the regular QP1. My post above was just a typo I guess. 

Quick question. If I use a QP1 in USB DAC mode, will it also output a digital signal over Toslink in that situation? I guess you would call it a USB to SPDIF (optical) converter in that case. I know it will put out a signal from the headphone out and line-out, but what about a digital output?

    Did you just get a new battery and that fixed the problem? I swapped a known working battery with a friend who has a 901, and still my 802 doesnt work.   I was interested in the Supermini but not if I am concerned about reliability.

Thread bump. My HM802 sat unused for a few months. Now it has an issue. I charged it for several hours then went to boot and it hung on the boot screen. Only way to get out of that was a battery pull. Now it won't even turn on at all. Tried charging all day and even tried another battery, tried...

    I already own a Simaudio Moon Andromeda so I skipped the add on DAC. I heard it at the dealer and it sounded good though. Reminded me of their older Equinox player. 

I have a pair of silver ha200 amps for sale. PM me if interested. They were fun to play with but I've got a Simaudio 430HA now. I can't see the nuforce amps getting much use now. They are really nice in monoblock mode though, push my LCD3 very well.  

My DDH1 is for sale if anyone wants it. The best small DAC amp I've tried yet. Really impressive and I'm tempted to keep it, but have no real need for it. Bought it just to try and that's it. 

As a happy Peak/Volcano user I'm excited to something like this. The step up from what I have to the Pinnacle is just too great but this is half way in between so it seems more attainable.

My DAC-100 is for sale if anyone is interested. I love the sound but I'm constantly switching sources and trying new things so it has to go. 

Yulong A18 is very good with HD800 and T1. I don't really like the T1 much but the A18 makes it listenable for me. And HD800 is a very good match.
