    Replacing Ipod internal amplifier?

You can get digital out without a mod. FiiO offers this: http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-L3-Line-Cable-iPhone/dp/B003UCESP8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1295573726&sr=8-3   If you're looking for a digial out + portable amp on the cheap you can get the L3 and FiiO's E5 both on amazon for ~$30 + s&h.

    Open-back dilemma

Doing some research. What would you say are the genres the MS2 handles best, and which do the HD-595s handle best?

    Open-back dilemma

Hello all, I'd love to get some feedback on everyone's favorite open-back can that runs from $100-$200. I don't have too much money right now. I use a pair of Ultrasone HFI-780s in public and on campus, but want something open back for home use. Any suggestions are welcome! -Gardner

For portability + ipod use: Ultrasone HFI 780 or Pro 750?

The title really says it all. I just need feedback from head-fiers who have used both. Portability is key (as I'm generally wearing headphones walking around campus or studying in coffee shops/libraries) and I'll be using these primarily with an ipod. Help!

    NEWBY NEEDS HELP!

Thanks for the Denon suggestion. I think they might be a little to big though. After researching more this afternoon I've been really interested in the Ultrasone HFI 780s, for the close impedance match with the ipod and for its $200 price tag. Anyone absolutely hate these headphones for some reason?

    NEWBY NEEDS HELP!

I'm new to the audiophile world, I must admit. I've had a pair of Bose Over the Ear phones for about a year and a half and want to upgrade to a pair that suits my ipod (classic) better. A good portion of my listening is done while studying in coffee shops, libraries, etc., so I've knocked off...
