iBasso DX300 Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core 6GB RAM ******NEW Firmware 2.00 Android 11******
Try to use neutron apps, from playstore. Way better playlists handling and many more features. However, I like the graphics of album while playing in Mango better. Also try hiby music player, which allows you to use your iphone or android phone to control your DX 300, very useful on LO mode...- phchin

iBasso DX300 Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core 6GB RAM ******NEW Firmware 2.00 Android 11******
Thanks, my initial google playstore failed to have hiby. Now I am able to install it. My galaxy phone now can control my dx300. This is useful for LO mode. The original music enhancement feature did not work though.- phchin

Please let me know if anyone can install hiby music player on dx 300. I was able to do it in all other android phones, but the app is not even available on dx 300 with google play. The app is very useful since it can download and use lyric for music. It can also make dx 300 a server and let...- phchin

Huge Comparison of [almost] all the Best Bluetooth Headphones - post your own comparisons here
On this post, there was immediate post disagreeing as I follow the link and I am also one who cannot disagree more. I never find beats headphone sounds nice. My humble opinion is that they are no match for either zik or sennheiser, wired or wireless. I owned them all some time in the past and I...- phchin

I do have sdb80 and the sound is good and comfortable. I received my ath cks77bt yesterday from Japan ebay, and I think it is better, especially for those who care more about bass. I have ath ws99bt, but it is not suitable for outdoor use. Fidelio m2bt is lighter but bluetooth receiving is not...- phchin

I went to sony showroom twice and listened to 2 different 1abt. They were both boomy at the bass and in my opinion, no match for ws99bt or fidelio.- phchin

Very nice presentation. I found the cover of the charging microusb loose and I ended up ripping it off. From your video I can see the loosening too. I also had the fidelio and I am still attracted to its base which is more solid than the "solid base" of ws99bt. The soundstage of ws99bt is much...- phchin

The sony 1ABT headphone has big and oval earpads and they feel very soft. For comfort and control, it is top class. They even look good with 2 choices of colours. However, after hearing 2 different pairs of them in the sony show room, both are a little bit boomy at the base. Sound wise, they are...- phchin

The inner diameter of the earpad is not enough even for my small ears. I agree with Giogio that it is over the ear or at least half over the ear in that sense. It certainly looks better to carry outside my home. I tried to use it for 2 weeks and yet, turned back to HM5 for its superior sound and...- phchin

Dear Giogio I also get the HM5 velour and leather plus HM9. Totally agree with your assessment. I think HM9 looks nicer, but I end up using the HM5 leather most of the time. Much more comfortable and sounds best. Cannot imagine a small thing like earpad means so much. Thanks for introducing...- phchin

The headphone just revealed more details in the music attracting one to try to listen to every detail. For me, that could be tiresome listening for over an hour.- phchin

I have ath ws99bt. Did not find sound leaking when my wife was listening to it.Passive noise cancelling is not too good though. Not suggest to use on planes. Audio uality is superior but sometimes too good. So detailed that I get tired wearing too long.- phchin

I just spent 5 minutes at the venue, which is reasonably quiet, and listened to several Jazz tunes which have a background music of viola and deep base. I did not try other tunes like hip hops and classical music or drums. I was actually going to the venue to buy the 1 abt. It's sound is not my...- phchin

Just listened to sony 1abt at their show room. I can hear quite a lot of booming at the base. Not quite at the same class as ATH ws99BT. I was wearing sony in ear BT sdh 80 to the venue. Even the 2 year old inear earbud of sony has better sound. The control, comfort and look are all superior though.- phchin

[/IMG]The measurements are around 4 to 4.5 cm for inner diameter, due to a little bit eliptical in shape of the cup. I measured the height of the cup including the attachment part. Dear Giogio I just measured the inside diameter: 4.5 cm. The height of the cup is also 4.5 cm. BTW, just increase bass by 3 db, and decreased high by 3db. Much better bass. The sound becomes a bit warmer afterwards. I feel like the original sound with HM9 on better.- phchin

Dear Giogio I bought the m2bt first and ATH really cannot produce as much solid base as fidelio. I purchase ATH from Japan ebay and found the ATH to offer a better package of sound as a whole. It let me learn to enjoy the other components of music apart from just its bass. However, the control...- phchin

Dear Giogio I may have missed it, but have you posted neutron EQ settings for ATH? Nice to have that for I have made a mess of neurtron. I have bought the brainwavz HM9 and it is a better fit than HM9. Please let me know the EQ setting with HM9 on. I agree with you that I cannot go out...- phchin

Woo Audio WA7TP (tube power supply) Impressions Thread
Having read comment on JAN and cleartops, I tried hard to listen to both again. On my HD800 I did not find base lacking to the extent that hurt my listening experience when I listned to Hotel California of Eagle, in cleartops. I did hear exceedingly sharp and comfortable guitar notes though. I...- phchin
