Would these headphones be well suited for my primary genres of music? I've heard it was a good all-rounder. If not, what would you recommend for < $100 that's open and drivable by an ipod? Thanks!

what sound cards support dvd- audio? is the only one the audigy2?

i like the sound of the KSC35/50.. what would be a step up? i actually prefer the sound next to my V6s, but i can't use them too much or else i'll bother my roomate

when i play mp3s, is it upsampling in software, or is it forcing my sound card to upsample in 32 bit? is it a good idea to always use 32 bit, or should i use 16 bit? i notice that cpu usage is slightly higher. i'm using kernel streaming.

what's a good, simple digital metronome? i dont need all the featues of a dr. beat db-66, but would like it to be nicer than the db-12... i can't use my traditional ones anymore at school

does anyone have this cd? i'm getting distortion on track 8, not sure if it's my headphones or not. i'm pretty sure it isn't, because i reversed channels and the distortion is still apparent.

well, today i tried to record some new songs, and the N1 didnt want to read the disc. try another disc. nope. tried ALL my discs. nope. damn it, i was using it yesterday just fine too. just kinda went. im overdue i guess, its been 2 years+ and most people have had their optical pick-ups die...

i currently use an MZ-N1 hooked up to MDR-V6s as a portable setup. i like this a lot since the V6s are easy to drive and this setup is relatively portable. my question now is, what's the next step up? i want to use the line-out and a portable amp, but i'm not sure what headphones would go well...

for some reason, my optical out light (the bright red beam) keeps blinking and flickering on and off. i dont think this is supposed to happen... the output on my dvd drive is a solid, unwavering beam. does anyone know the possible reason for this? this is the optical out port on my SoundBlaster...
