I'm getting tired of these things scratching...I just did this today...has anybody else tried this? What were the results? I called Grado and they said they had never done it, but that they didn't see any problem with doing so. John

ack, I just got my Grado RS-1's about a month ago, and they're already chipping and scratching in a couple of places...I haven't mistreated them, they seem awfully delicate. Is there any way to fix this? are there at least markers that someone has tried to smooth over the chips? John
