What has excellent highs, good soundstage, and pretty much indestructible?
So I've been using the DBA-02 previously which eventually broke down because the cable gave way. I then replaced it with the MKII and despite the much stronger-looking build, it failed me after half a year. I really don't know if it's just bad luck or I'm just bad at these things. I treat them...- Demonic_Pope

Either I'm plain unlukcy or the RE0 has a big build defect
I got a pair of RE0s last december. Within 3 weeks there was a loose connection somewhere within the L-plug, and the sound sounded really tiny and mono. But after a few days the problem just went away, so I thought everything was fine. Around a month ago my left earpiece stopped producing sound...- Demonic_Pope

My RE0 cable is on its way out!
I've had my RE0s (newest revision) for a month and a half now, and they sound fantastic. I have no complaints about the sound and build quality... except now. As I was listening to James Horner's magnificent action cue "War" yesterday, the connection in the cable became loose and while there is...- Demonic_Pope

Burn-in from a low-quality source
I'm thinking of burning-in my RE0, but the only practical way for me is to hook it up to my computer with its onboard audiocard, which isn't anywhere near good quality. There is a substantial amount of hiss when I plug it in. Will this in any way affect the burn in, or is it completely safe?- Demonic_Pope

Best portable amp for the RE0
I've been using my RE0 for 3 weeks now, running them unamped from my new iPod classic, and I really like them. However from what I've read the sound can be greatly improved with an amp. Now I don't want an expensive amp just yet, and I don't want one of those bulky ones, what I want is a...- Demonic_Pope

Best tips for the RE0
The stock bi-flange tips don't really fit my ears. The medium-sized single-flange tips fit my right ear, but doesn't really do it for my left. There isn't that satisfying pressurized 'pop' sound when I pull it out of my left ear. I think the tip is just SLIGHTLY smaller than my left ear canal...- Demonic_Pope

Is the RE0 suitable for me?
Now I've owned the PL50 for about a month now, and while I think it's a pretty good pair of earphones, I don't think they are detailed enough for me. The mids are good, but I find the lack of clarity unsatisfying. What I'm looking for are (1) Detail and clarity, I like good treble, but I do...- Demonic_Pope

What's a pair of IEM with good treble and soundstage?
Okay I bought myself the new iPod classic 160GB last week. The stock earbuds actually weren't half bad, considering I was expecting it to be garbage. It was fairly detailed in fact. But I decided I wanted something better, and I heard that the Soundmagic PL50s are great, so I got them. I...- Demonic_Pope
