So I've been using the DBA-02 previously which eventually broke down because the cable gave way. I then replaced it with the MKII and despite the much stronger-looking build, it failed me after half a year. I really don't know if it's just bad luck or I'm just bad at these things. I treat them with care and put them in a case whenever I'm done with it :/
Anyway I'm looking for something with a similar signature with the DBA-02 (I prefer the old version to the MKII). Something with slightly more bass would be good too, but I want my bass to be punchy.
What I also really want is really, really good build quality. I'm sick of these things dying on me! I don't have an unlimited budget though. $200 is OK, could stretch it to around $300.
