Dita Audio Flagship - "The Dream"
Can you share a bit more of your experience pairing Encore with OSLO? Listened to the final-tuned Dream XLS and I must say I loved the sound of this...fast, coherent, spacious and able to dig out lots of details of a track. If you like the original OSLO, this updated cable is pure heavenly...- Toolman

Look out for the improved Dita OSLO cable...ergonomically much better than the original and I was told the cable internal are also much improved. Still Japanese made. Have not a chance for A/B comparison other than it matched the new XLS beautifully- Toolman

i understand where some of you guys come from, and not defending any business with bad customer services whatsoever, but i will give them a pass for this 'once in a year' local trade show that will stressed their resources to the fullest. Acoustune HS1690TI
You’re about right..tried out the 1690 vs 1670 vs 1650 and the 1690Ti matches my listening taste the best. Bass are well controlled, better instruments separation and everything just sounded more coherent. This is one heck of an iem for the asking price...needless to say it will be coming home...- Toolman

Still digesting this piece of news. The LAu will always be cherished by me and I was very much looking forward to the Liquid Tungsten, but alas family and health will always come first. Wishing Alex all the best with more quality family time- Toolman

Looking forward to it. I have all three...but my Zen is a 8-wire config. For some reason (likely due to mathching) I'm liking my Ares II a bit more but they are all very nice, affordable wires. Time to give all three a back-to-back comparison again- Toolman

Was just about to type the same answer...most, if not all are Made in China. I picked up a couple in Japan then later another one locally at near half price all are about the same quality, and yes Chinese made. The only difference are the packaging and the branding outside the box.- Toolman

Like I have said...some guys just take a piece of their gear far too seriously, oftentimes without realising how lucky we all are to be able to splash this much money and resources on our hobby. Fellow 1Z owners...I'm getting better SQ (dynamics and micro details) from selecting high gain than choosing low gain...even when both are played at similar loudness. Is that your findings too? Do share...- Toolman

The Official Sony MDR-Z1R Flagship Headphone Thread (Live From IFA 2016)
Many so-called "leather dressing" especially the cheaper ones are no more than silicone based dressing, which does more harm than good. The 4-wire certainly don't sound like a copper cable at all...to me it sits at the top of my favourite iem cable with only the Leonidas 8-wire coming close. *of course I have not heard them all but I've heard quite a number- Toolman
