AKG Q701 + Total bithead amp = ????

Klipsch image s4i sucks big time
Interesting. For me, I love their sound. What didn't work was their fit (large tips were too small).- Schweiz

Who's using portable amps only for big cans?
I purchased a Total Bithead solely to bypass the noisy headphone jack on my laptop. I decided to get some decent headphones at the same time and bought the D2000's. I'm still using this setup for primary home use.- Schweiz

Klipsch Image S4?
Thanks for the comparison wow 416. Interesting observations from someone that has multiple sets to listen to back-to-back. How do you find them compared to the other headphones you mentioned? I just got the S4's and I'm burning them in now. I'll post some observations in the coming week.- Schweiz

Klipsch sale @ half price
Bump! Can anyone from Klipsch comment whether there will be some type of promotional offer this year? Or prod your bosses to make it happen? I missed this deal last year because I was out of the country and have wanted the X10's ever since. Full price is out of the budget but I'd happily...- Schweiz

Help! Which IEM has more detail & clarity w/ good bass and comfortable
I'm curious about how the S4 and X10 compare in detail and instrument separation. I expect the X10's to be better at multiple times the price, but, can someone quantify how much better? I'm upgrading from Shure e2c's and after getting a set of full sized cans I find them unlistenable, more...- Schweiz

Klipsch S4 vs. x10?
I was originally contemplating the x10's, but the price point on the S4 is compelling. I've read every thread I can find on both but no direct A/B comparison. My impression is that the sound signature and level of detail is comparable. Has anyone given both of these a demo?- Schweiz

Yuin PK3 Impressions Thread
Do PK3's with foam fit in a similar manner to the stock ipod buds? I hate foam covers and find the naked white buds a perfect fit for my usage.- Schweiz

IEM's for motorcycle riding?
I ride but not with music. Let me just chirp in here in support of hearing protection. Wind noise is huge at highways speeds. Not only can you not hear much else, but it will destroy your hearing. Couple that with exhaust noise, and well...as long as the music doesn't distract you you're not...- Schweiz

YUIN PK3 + Sony NWZ-A729 = Excellence SQ!
I'm thinking of getting some PK3's myself. How do they fit? I hate foam sleeves on ear buds. Ipod buds are a perfect fit for my use and I'm wondering if the PK's have a similar fit without sleeves.- Schweiz

SE530: Fit and comfort
From everything I've read the se530 has the sound signature I'm looking for. However, comfort is of the utmost importance. I currently have e2c's and when I purchased them I read that the tips aren't compatible with other Shure models. Specifically, the nozzle size is larger on the e2c's...- Schweiz

My ear canals aren't symmetrical either. I had custom ear molds done and the differences between them are notable.- Schweiz

General headphone ignorance
Bose threads are like a car wreck; there's usually an atrocity but you keep staring anyway. I recently tried some Bose for the first time at the Apple store. It wasn't the sound signature that first struck me. It was the distortion. They had all of the ipod eq's set to bass boost. Travesty.- Schweiz

Great raptor34. Thanks a lot! I really don't need to spend more money. I have the total bithead and have been contemplating the micro stack. I already have the D2000's you mentioned.
