Rarest Headphones Around?
There are as far as we know, no remaining examples of the Plasmasonic Ion Drive headphone. A production model. Of which 0 exist. It's kinda cheating, but it doesn't get much rarer than that.- Duggeh

How to access the headphoneus supremus forum ?
Quote: I've used all of those headphones (sr-007 for the stax) portable-rig on the street at least once. Except the Thunderpants which I've yet to own. The Surrounder got the best looks. I am completely serious. Despite this, I didn't get into the supreme forum of...- Duggeh

Kilts? I'm unconvinced.
Kilts are awesome. I'd wear one often if it didn't mean freezing my nuts off in the Cold Scottish Wind. Modern leather kilts and the like? Ghastly awful things.- Duggeh

Goldring NS1000 Noise Reduction Headphones.
Information bump. If you've lost the original connection cable and find that most 3.5mm cables are too large to work as replacements, getting a Goldring one seems to be impossible without visiting a dealer. There are small tip cables on Ebay which work as replacements. I...- Duggeh

I concur with n3rdling. I've owned the O2/717 combo for 5 and a half years, it makes superb music. The BHSE is better, but also different. And of course, big money.- Duggeh

TakeT BPP Portable Supertweeter and H2+ Headphone - Head-Fi TV, Episode 010
Quick post as I'm on the move. If you buy one of these, also buy a Sennheiser HD212. The headband can be adapted to replace the horrible TakeT one. Also consider running one with a Stax amplifier (717 minimum, KGSS better).- Duggeh

Head-Fi UK Meet: 02/04/2011 - London
Good to hear from old chaps that there's interest in a beer. It'll be good to raise a glass with you all again. Meets aren't just about the gear lods. It's about people and fun. If this is going to be a all-day thing, we should go for a sit down, burger and beer come lunchtime.- Duggeh
