Alambic Ears - Impressions thread - Mentawai, Mavericks, Mundaka, Noosa
I initially described a kind of concept using a few images. However I did not totally stick to that concept, even though I fell not too far either. Then Aldo showed me a few plates he had which may be not too far from that concept (+ a few other he had in stock), which gave me a rough idea of...- Kangeki

A little about the Shozy Alien
I also have some very sensitive CIEMs and I don't know how is its hiss paired with the Alien Gold compared to what you describe (I don't use FM radio ), but I can still hear it whilst it is bearable and constant. And I love my CIEMs- Kangeki

Thank you for your input ! I'd have a question if you don't mind : how does the hiss level would compare with Alien Gold's ? I have some very sensitive headphones (Cosmic Ears CE6P and Final Audio Pandora Hope VI) and I can hear though it is bearable, it would be better if I could erase what I...- Kangeki

I believe CE4P is the new name of BA4, so this review may be interesting for you. Can someone confirm my statement ? http://www.headfonia.com/cosmic-ears-ba4-jewel-in-the-crown/- Kangeki

Cayin N5 DAP - Product Info (Post #2), Resources (Post #3) and Discussion
Hi Andy, Do you know if finally the "low low gain" / "low low low gain" options are planned to be implemented ? I recently got a Final Audio Design Pandora Hope VI with 2.5 TRRS cable and it is quite sensitive ; I have some noise on the symetrical outpute of the N5 even though it is...- Kangeki

A little about the Shozy Alien
Hi ! From what I read (I have only the Gold), people say that the Gold, compared to the original : - has less noise (but it should not be a problem if you do not have sensitive headphones with the original one ; with the Gold, I have a little bit constant noise with my very sensitive...- Kangeki

Isn't the result more important than how that result is done from the customer point of view ? Should we ignore the engineering immaterial choices made behind a product ? In the end, you compare the final product itself with the others from the market anyway. For the components, the main...- Kangeki
