IEMs for laying in bed
Does anyone have any recommendations for IEMs that fit really well when laying side ways? I love my current headphones, AD700s, but they're impossible to lay sideways with. I was thinking of going with the AT CKM500s because they'd have that AT house sound but I was also looking at the Hifiman...- DFXLuna

AD-700
I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove my ad700's. They are a little too weak on the bass though, if you pair it with a nice amp that has bass boost(Like the fiio e10) it's perfect :D They're are so comfortable as long as your head isn't small. If you game for long periods, get these, they're...- DFXLuna

Is Musica Acoustics Legitimate?
I was looking at buying a pair of Ortofon E-q5 IEMS and the review I looked at suggested buying them from Musica Acoustics - http://www.musicaacoustics.com/wp/ The price there is 50$ cheaper than Amazon or even the US Musica Acoustics shop which makes me doubtful of whether or not it's...- DFXLuna

E7 vs E6???
I have really good experiences with my e10 paired with an AD700. It's in the same price range so I recommend it!- DFXLuna

Sansa Clip+ with Fiio e10
Are there any easy solutions for downsampling? it seems like all of the down sampling programs are Linux only and I haven't used linux in years^_^;;; Although I was kinda looking at getting gentoo....- DFXLuna

Sansa Clip+ with Fiio e10
Quote: When it's in stereo it garbles up the audio during denser segments with more stuff going on. It doesn't happen in mono.(It only happens in flac 24/96)- DFXLuna

Sansa Clip+ with Fiio e10
Quote: I can't decide whether it's worse to live with mono or garbled audio at the ends of the sound :D I'm so used to the giant sound stage of my AD700's XD I guess I'll just have to do some downsampling, it's definitely cheaper than getting a new portable source!- DFXLuna

Sansa Clip+ with Fiio e10
Quote: I have it rockboxed but it still gets messed up during denser segments I'm okay with downsampling(Although I really miss the clean sound of my e10). Maybe I don't have down sampling enabled although I don't see an option for it either....- DFXLuna

Sansa Clip+ with Fiio e10
I considered that but I need a dac as my clip can't handle Stereo Flac(I think the sampling rate is too high for it) and I don't wanna go through the trouble of encoding most of my library. Impedance isn't a problem because my AD700's only have 32ohms of impedance. I'll probably end up getting...- DFXLuna

Team Dai-Gurren AD700
Just a custom paint job of my AD700's. Black on all the plastic, white on the grills plus the team Dai-Gurren logo from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. The whole thing took about 2 days for 4 coats of paint plus clear coat. (I started late on the first day). Also I pulled the foam out of the grills...- DFXLuna

Review by 'DFXLuna' on item 'Audio Technica ATH-AD700'
This is my first pair of hifi cans so I don't really have anything to compare them to. It was a nice deal, I love the sound quality -especially when paired with a fiio e10, the e10's bass boost fixes the weak bass problem.- DFXLuna

Sansa Clip+ with Fiio e10
So my Clip+ has a headphone jack and the mini usb port I use to plug it into my computer. However, my fiio e10 only has a mini usb in, the same type of usb in as my Clip. So no easy trs line in. Normally I could just buy a LOD for this however, there aren't any LODs, that I can find, for the...- DFXLuna

What are audiophile headphones for?
Think of studio monitoring as that guy that sits behind the glass pane when you record an album. You'd want the most neutral headphones possible so that you get exactly what's played without any coloring or etc.- DFXLuna

Little Dot 1+ vs Hifiman EF2A vs Bellari HA540
I can't answer the first two, however, for a dac under 100$ you really can't go wrong with a fiio e10. I just got mine in the mail the other day and it's really well built. If any of your phones are a little low on the bass side, this will balance it out nicely.- DFXLuna

what's the oldest spec laptop you'd recommend for office work?
An i3 laptop costs around 400cad, that's about as cheap as laptops get unless you get a netbook, however those have much smaller screens. The problem with getting below 400 is the screen size. Checking on newegg shows that the only laptops below 400cad with a 15" screen are refurbished. As a...- DFXLuna
