[REVIEW] Vsonic GR06: WOW!!!
Actually, I was wrong. I finanlly found the perfect fit and angle of adjustment, after another couple hours of fidgeting and finding out which tips. I finally used the double-flanged tips and had a really good seal. They actually have a decent amount of bass/punch to be honest. Its amazing just...- tuanh714

[REVIEW] Vsonic GR06: WOW!!!
I agree with the abscence of bass. I'm by far no bass-head but maybe... it's because I did not give them enough burn-in... Well I don't get how in ljokerl's review, he was like they are a very warm, mid-centric sounding iem (if i recall correctly) ah well they're still beautiful/great but...- tuanh714

[REVIEW] Vsonic GR06: WOW!!!
Hey anyone Headphoneus Supremus guys out there haha, or owners in general, does adjusting the nozzles of the Vsonic GR06 too much make them loose? I mean mine aren't but for future references. I had a hell of a time adjusting it to find the right angle of insertion into my ear canal and now its...- tuanh714

V-Moda M80, Vsonic GR07, Sennheiser HD 25-1 II, Fischer DBA-02, or Hifiman RE262?
Wow, thanks for your insight. Hm, walking around with IEM's sound quite tempting, to just block myself out from the world, but potentially life threatening. For a college student, jay walking is iminent.... I might get hit with a car lol. But then again, I do my fair share of studying...- tuanh714

V-Moda M80, Vsonic GR07, Sennheiser HD 25-1 II, Fischer DBA-02, or Hifiman RE262?
Btw, I've gone through |Joker|'s whole list of headphones, IEM's in both his huge reviews. http://www.head-fi.org/t/433318/shootout-102-portable-headphones-reviewed-panasonic-rp-htf600-added-04-29-12 and ...- tuanh714

V-Moda M80, Vsonic GR07, Sennheiser HD 25-1 II, Fischer DBA-02, or Hifiman RE262?
Hello fellows, I've recently saved up enough for one of the above mentioned IEM or portable headphones. The thing is, I can't decide between portable headphones or IEM's. I know that, from the reviews here, the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II and Vmoda M80s are like polar opposites, only similar in...- tuanh714

JVC HARX700 or Panasonic RP-HTF600S?
Hello fellow Head-Fi'ers, I've recently read a billion reviews about how awesome the Panny's are, and the same goes for the JVC's. Apparently, both have been praised aplenty around here. How do these two compare? I'm not really interested in any modifications. I listen to quite a huge...- tuanh714

MEELECTRONICS HT-21 Mod ("Ish") Lol
So guys, I share the common opinion that the Meelectronics HT-21 has mids that are much too forward and slightly painful to hear. To me, as well, the headphones are lacking that comfortable "warmness" that fun headphones have. It sounds a bit too thin and cold with such forward mids... I...- tuanh714

Quote: Oh wow. Sound quality has increased GREATLY when I stopped connecting them to my laptop. I guess my stock soundcard just sucks that bad. I connected this to my Sansa Clip and it sounds stunning. A LOT MORE DETAIL! Mids aren't as recessed, vocals are clear, bass HAS gotten...- tuanh714

I found somewhere on another forum that it was the exact same sound signature as the Brainwavz. It's somewhere here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/593354/initial-impressions-brainwavz-hm3/15#post_8330226- tuanh714

So currently, I'd say they are burned in enough. To me... These headphones sound too "laid back and slow." I'd say they have a slightly dark sound, sort of warm, but still has a decent amount of detail. I wouldn't call them fun sounding headphones, like the Panasonic RP HTF600, but they're...- tuanh714

Just measured the pleather earpad diameter. Exactly 2 inches. I read somewhere on here that the Shure SRH750DJ earpads could be used to replace stock ones on the Brainwavz HM3, and since these are identical... I'd give it a try. There's space under the pad for your ears to fit, hence my 2.5 inch...- tuanh714
