For sale a Chord Mojo in good condition. I am no longer using the DAC/amp that much since I work from home and use my stereo set. The DAC is in great condition, and works fine. There is one small nick/dent on the top part of the casing which is just visible on the photo, but in real-life is easy...- SawaFish

Yuin G2 or Sony MDR Q68LW for secure fit
I recently acquired a pair of Yuin G2A with the sole purpose of using them while jogging. I can tell you: this won't work. There were a few seconds now and then that they stayed firm in one place but most of the time they bounced making them uncomfortable. I don't know about the Sony clip ons...- SawaFish

Cowon S9 stock earbuds - what make are they?
They're suprisingly good indeed, I wouldn't want to use them every day but when you have to use them, at least they make a sound you can call music. Instead of most standard earbuds manufactures deliver with their MP3-players.- SawaFish

Westone UM3X Thread
Since this is the appropriate thread, I'll post my initial thoughts on my new UM3x's. They sound very clear and it's got great instrument separation. The music also sounds 'completer', as in certain sounds seem to be fuller and overall it just sounds a lot better than my UM1, though most of the...- SawaFish

Why won't my ATH-CK7 cable work?
EDIT I brought them to a friend of mine and he immediatly saw that the copper wires had a thin layer around them, thus the green/red colour, which could be easily burned off. After doing that it was a simple soldering job and they work yet again :) /EDIT A few weeks ago the plug of my...- SawaFish

Stores/Sites selling Westone in EU (or ship to EU)
That's quite a lot of stores, though unfortunately they all sell the UM3 for roughly 350 euro or more. While iheadphones.co.uk sells them for ~295 euros inc. EU-wide shipping. Thanks though- SawaFish

Stores/Sites selling Westone in EU (or ship to EU)
After some time enjoying my Westone UM1's I've finally decided to upgrade to the UM3 or UM3X after a recent financial bonus. I'm having a rather difficult time though finding (authorised) sellers of Westone products in the EU. So far I've only found some stores on eBay which are expensive and...- SawaFish

If these are used solely for commuting, I wouldn't advise the K271s. They're rather big and unless it's on your head you can't wear it (it clamps against your jaws when you wear them around the neck in case you have a conversation etc. which is rather uncompfortable) I haven't heard the K171s...- SawaFish

replacing an ipod video battery - how difficult is it
It's rather easy. I used a kit from ipodjuice.com which came with clear instructions. You just pry open the ipod with a non scratching tool, remove the powerstrip, place it on the new battery, place the new battery (maybe with some adhesive), close the ipod, and within 10 minutes you're done.- SawaFish

Archos 5 vs Cowon O2?
The Cowon O2 does sound significantly better than the Archos 5 (I owned an O2 an a friend ownes an Archos 5) However, the screen of the Archos is much, much better but the screen of the O2 will do fine for movies, just don't expect it to blow you away. Besides, the Archos offers much more...- SawaFish

Buy a big stereo, play the ugliest music as hard as possible while you're away and hope your neighbors get the hint The K271s isolate well but not that well, maybe IEMs are better suited for this problem- SawaFish

What DAP/PMP has most disappointed you?
Cowon O2, although the video support and SQ was great. It didn't support playlists and broke after a week of use, also, the screen wasn't as good as I expected from a PMP. I'm happy with my S9 now though- SawaFish
