FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
Don't know about hiby but I often find fiio music misses a few tracks when I scan. A second scan picks up the rest usually. Neutron usually scans perfectly.- russell finch

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
If it's invisible, how do I change between apps in android mode? Also if I turn it on in settings, it eats up screen space so when I use Neutron it makes the album art smaller. Can't stand small album art, don't see why it had to be so tiny on the new FW compared to the old one..- russell finch

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
Is the album art still the same size ? Also did you fix the issue where you couldn't swipe up to get the android navigation bar ?- russell finch

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
Another issue with the new FW was that the android navigation circle, triangle square at the bottom of the screen couldn't be accessed by swiping the top or bottom of the screen. The only way to access it was by switching it permanently on via the display menu. This was surprisingly pretty annoying.- russell finch

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
Yes, loss of m3u8 is a deal breaker. I have uninstalled back to the old version until m3u8 works again. I only use fiio music for playlists, Neutron for everything else. I downloaded usb audio player pro which sounds excellent and supports m3u8, but it won't scan USB storage into the library...- russell finch

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
I have this issue with card 2 as well, and this morning Neutron crashed for the first time ever whilst playing. It seemed to coincide with a "low battery" notification, but I may be wrong. Latest FW upgrade seems to have given us replay gain but little else to be positive about. I'd stick with...- russell finch

On the plus side we have replay gain, but my m3u8 playlists are now nowhere to be seen. Infuriating.- russell finch

Weird I had a X5 and the back popped off because the battery had swollen up (think it was during a flight). Weirdly it still work but I can't get the back to attach.- russell finch

I have X7ii and a Samsung T5 as well. If you're still looking for a solution, I had a short right angle micro USB to micro USB cable, and bought a tiny micro USB to USB C adapter to connect with the T5. FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
Now i have the problem back again. The playlist appears on screen for half a second and disappears. However if I hit the little triangular back button at the bottom of the screen, the playlist reappears and stays there so i can choose what I want. Needs fixing but at least there's a workaround...- russell finch
