LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread
Thank you for the comparison. BAX PRO intrigued me; I didnt have any experience with EST drivers until now. Overall, I also bought it. In general, very interesting IEM with many positive aspects. However, I still prefer LZ A6 much more. I haven't heard such airiness in the upper range anywhere...- Steve80

TRN impressions thread
What's the difference between TRN BAX and TRN BAX PRO ? Pro version was released later, and it's black color; otherwise, the specifications seem to be the same at first glance.- Steve80

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread
Thank you for feedback; it was interesting to read. Regarding the ToneKing model that has a tuning similar to the A6, from what I found, I assume it might be the Toneking T88k? I've never heard of this brand before, did some internet search, and it seems they have quite a variety of iem...- Steve80

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread
Still A6 is one of the best IEM I've ever owned. still amazed by the sound quality. Is there anything similar on the market in terms of tonality right now? I was considering getting the Lz AX, but it's a bit expensive for a purchase without auditioning. I've had A7, liked them, they are good in...- Steve80

ONKYO DP-X1 | Dual Sabre Dacs | Balanced | Sabre BTL Amp | MQA | DSD 256 | Android 5 |
Hello from Japan. I have the opposite experience. I owned the SR15 player for three months. And I've been owning the Onkyo players since its release, for many years. I've had the entire range of Pioneer and Onkyo players, small and large ones. I've tried many different players, but I always came...- Steve80

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread
I like blue nozzle. It sound the most open and airy. As for tips, everything is very individual. I have tried many of them for 3 years. I used AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC For TWS for a year, its good. And fix it well in the ear. But myfavorite is Ultimate Ears 900s's tips , its a very soft and...- Steve80

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread
Yes, maybe it is a bit unnatural. But i like it clarity and this detailed sound very much:) Just like many people love powerful bass. I think the A7 play more natural in the mids, but lack airiness and openness in the upper mids. A7 don't play sounds, that I hear in A6 on instrumental music...- Steve80

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread
I completely agree. I own LZ A6 for almost 3 years, and couldn't find any replacement. I bought LZ A7, but the upper-mid frequencies and airiness of the A6 cannot be compared. Yes, at some points the A7 is very interesting, but it dont have that beauty of the upper-mid frequencies, that...- Steve80

Well, I own Ananda almost for a year, and to be honest, I’ve listen Sundara more often, very like it. And I regret that I sold my 560s, and made an upgrade to Ananda. Although, personal experience is the most valuable.- Steve80

In Sundara, the middle range is better developed than in 560. Otherwise, it’s a matter of taste preferences. I like the sound of 560s more, than Ananda.- Steve80

I appreciate the same things on these headphones. 560 unmatched and airy on instrumental music. But the middle is slightly failed. I advise you to listen Sundara, It is amazing headphones, especially for its value. I think you will like it.- Steve80

Hifiman Sundara (HE400i upgraded, around $500)
I like Sundara for its tonality and extension at high frequencies. Ananda attenuation is faster. I like when attenuation on HF is slower. Sundara is better for Instruments such as: a triangle, bells, xylophones and other high-frequency percussion. But Ananda is much more convenient, you can...- Steve80

Hifiman Sundara (HE400i upgraded, around $500)
I have both pairs of headphones in use at home. Honestly, I often enjoy with Sundara. By tonality, I like it more than Ananda. Becouse it sound more neutral for me. Ananda is very good headphones, it is a fact. But at the moment, if I needed to make a choice between two of it, I will choice...- Steve80

Hifiman Ananda
I owned HE 400i for year, HE560 for year, and a half year - Ananda. Still I prefer to listen classical music at HE560. They are noticeably more detailed, brighter and longer at high frequencies. Instruments such as: a triangle, bells, xylophones and other high-frequency percussion, i.e. the...- Steve80

Yamaha EPH-100
Bought the Eph 200 in addition to my Eph100. The Eph100 middle register sounds a little warm, slightly embellishing the sound. These are my favorite headphones. As for the 200th, it's completely different headphones. They are both slightly larger in size and slightly thicker due to the design...- Steve80

Onkyo DP-S1 Rubato / Pioneer XDP-30R Private
Sure Merits and demerits in my opinion: merits: The size. It is very small. And pioneer in terms of dimensions is much more convenient than onkyo. There are several options for selecting the volume levels. You can adjust the regulator in the reverse direction. On the tracks goes...- Steve80
