Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps
Thanks for the info! I've been trying to figure that out for days and for the life of me I couldn't find anything on this. Besides Mullard's, what other brand of tubes would you recommend? I've heard Sylvania's are nice, but I'll admit it, I'm a total noob to tubes haha- whiteshadow001

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps
I'm new to tube rolling and I was wondering if the 12au7 tubes were the only tubes the V2 can use or can it use 12ax7's as well?- whiteshadow001

Should I get an amp or a sound card??
Oh yea, getting an amp/dac combo will be a lot better for music. The mixamp is really only for surround sound. I would go with fiio to start out. They are a very good brand and well known amongst the headfi community Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2- whiteshadow001

Good 5.1 system under $400
So just an update, went with the mlt2 system and it is absolutely amazing. More than enough sound for my room which is the size of the Magnolia room at best buy. The speakers are larger than you would think, more like a smaller bookshelf speaker than sats. Once I get them broken in more I'll... -

Good 5.1 system under $400
I've learn that comparing specs doesn't show real world performance. It's like benchmarking a phone, it could score really bad in a benchmark, but perform very good in day to day performance. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 -

Good 5.1 system under $400
I'm looking for a system that won't break the bank but will better than my 5 year old Samsung system. I've been looking at energy and Polk systems. Any other recommendations are greatly appreciated. I mainly play video games if that helps. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2- whiteshadow001

iPhone 5 sound quality
Everyone I've talked to can hear a difference. There is one there. Maybe not what your tests say but I've definitely noticed an overall better sound quality through my 5th gen iPod than my my brothers 4th gen. Same goes for my mom's 4S and her new iPhone 5.
