Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Bass has been great, but it does require a good seal. I had to change the tips to the double flange and that helped a bunch. They do feel a bit hot on some songs though. That might just be me needing some brain burn for them. No app support is kind of a bummer, but I can do without that for now...- broopa

Happens to me all the time, I thought it was just me and my weird ear canals. The Eartune Fidelity U tips helped the most but took away some of the low end sadly. I've just come to terms that I have to adjust the seal every so often if I'm not just sitting still.- broopa

Hate for being different than the norm I guess. I tend to use the Spinfit W1, SednaEarfit Crystal some times seals too well and the pressure stops the left side from being audible.- broopa

I have no regrets and listen to mine almost daily. I think the biggest determining factor into worth is your music library. Listening to mostly hip-hop and jazz I can't ask for a better set of IEMs to compliment the music.- broopa

I would assume the size of the 2020, I doubt they'd want to make them bigger. Man they are looking good, curious how sound compares.- broopa

It might be the 4 Imperial stouts I just drank but these feel tailor made for MF DOOM tracks. So far my favorite tips have been the Spinfit W1 but I have a few more coming in the mail to test. Next up is a modular cable and a new DAP since the Alpha just sounds too sterile.- broopa

Anyone having driver flex issues? I've been tip rolling a bunch to find the best fit for me, my normal go to Spinfit 240's sometimes lose sound completely out of the left side. Not sure if its my ear canal or if certain tips just flex real bad and cause the drivers to stop moving. These are the...- broopa

Loving these so far after about 24hrs of burn in. No fatigue like I normally get with my Solaris after a few hours which is great, I could easily wear these all day. Mids feel a little recessed hoping they come forward as I continue to burn in. It could also be my DAP, will have to upgrade...- broopa

Just ordered a set and I can't wait to get them; this is going to be my first multikilobuck IEM. Ordered overnight so I can get in a quick listen before burning them in while dealing with family over new years weekend. Fingers crossed they actually make it here tomorrow.- broopa

Khadas Tea - World's First MagSafe Headphone Amplifier for Smartphones
Mine just showed up, decided I would first try it with my Celestee and the cable termination is a bit too thick and pushes some of the tea off of the phone. Good news is it powers the Celestee perfectly, volume is about 30% and is plenty loud. Plugged in Solaris 2020 and the background is black...- broopa

Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)
Those are some upgrades I can swing. Thanks for the advice. Looking for desktop set up the Alpha is good enough on the go, but for what ever reason it doesn't seem to do as well when hooked up to my computer. Buying a Hugo used just worries me because of the battery. But also a good option.- broopa

Just picked these up and I don't think my Kann Alpha can push these hard enough. Thinking about doing a Schiit stack Magni Heresy and Modi 3. Anyone have experience with that stack and these headphones. Also open to recommendations around the same price range.- broopa

I haven't had any wifi drops personally, so I can't speak to that, but I also don't use streaming much on it. I did get the blue one so maybe they addressed the issue in a silent revision.- broopa

I don't have any hiss on the Alpha with 2020 or OG. Haven't tested the 2.5 only use the 4.4 and 3.5. I personally love the pairing, its more neutral than the Cowon P2 I use. The sound signature will probably be similar to what you are used to with the SE100.- broopa
