UPS asked me to fill three forms: TSCA 2019 Single Entry, lacey act form, DOT form Can anyone who received A16 in US show me how to do it? Or these are wrong forms for me? Update: Just did a search in the thread. It looks like that I need to fill TSCA only....- valleynomad

Looks like they have integrated the measuring mics into the headphones of JVC XP-EXT1. Its sound process unit seems to be an A16 minus the immersive audio decoders... https://www.us.jvc.com/headphones/home_theater_solutions/xp_ext1/- valleynomad

Just out of curiosity, how popular is DTS-X format in the contents with the immersive audio these days? I know that DTS-X is not in the next generation of DTV standards including ATSC 3.0 and DVB-UHD. Is it used widely elsewhere? Standard DTS-X requires auto-calibration process which may be...- valleynomad

That looks like a dangerous dead zone or plane for humans:) Well, it is actually not that bad. There is still some way for us to perceive the distance of sound source on that plane without binaural cue, especially in close range, if you believe HRTF parallax....- valleynomad

Are you saying that we can not perceive the distance of sound source in an anechoic chamber? I agree with the rest of your comments on delay. As for what Stephen said, I think he might mean that SVS hasn't yet calculated the distances between listening position and simulated speakers and...- valleynomad

OK, this makes sense. It is based on the idea that the SVS in this case simulates, instead of speakers, the entire audio "system" between the stereo input and listener's ear canal entrance. In this way you don't have to deal with those internally-generated channels (e.g. front/back/center) and...- valleynomad
