I'm using IEM's on my Atom HE while my Focal Utopias are away for repair, sounds great.

My Arche is at naim support for repair, lets see if they can fix that handshake issue.:unamused:

It doesn’t matter what input it is on, it’s the same on all inputs.

The Arche has managed to come back to life (still have to turn on and off a few times to get it to go), but it has a intermittent fault in that it looses the right channel audio (there is a gas leak like interference noise). Don't know if this has to do with the bug or it could be a dry joint on...

Seems to happen every 2 or so months and a power down and on again seems to cure the problem. Could be like a cache build up that has to be cleared every now and then ?

Understood, but if you count toslink as a connection then the Arche did have an issue with that as well, even analogue was an issue for me. No such problems with the Atom HE.

You may think it's no big deal, but switching on/off and on again or a replug is no good for electronics. It's about time Focal should've sorted this little problem out. I am thinking of sending mine back to my dealer saying it's faulty and see what happens.

It doesn’t work on my Mac on first go, I have to put it into standby and on again in the sequence I have mentioned before.

The new version has 2 cables (XLR and 3.5mm jack lead) and a fancy carrying case.

I have USB extensions on my pc at the front so i don't have to fiddle around the back to plug and unplug and this still doesn't work for me. Even plugging and unplugging to my DAP in front of me doesn't work. I have switch the Arche off, or put it into standby and then on again to make it work...
