Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
I've come to this thread to ask if any of you have owned the KZ ES4's. I am looking to replace them with another ChiFi headphone that is better within a $50 budget, so far it seems that the KZ ZSX or CCA-12 are my options. But I'd like to know if there are better considering that I like the warm...- Yoshi948

Breaking-in headphones, the final verdict!
It is placebo... The more you get used to them, the "better" they sound. It hasn't even been scientifically proven .- Yoshi948

Breaking-in headphones, the final verdict!
I thought it also had a phycological factor. Your brain modifying the "sound signature" to fit to your liking. Although, not too dramatic. Since each headphone will sound different. So yea, burning-in is really a placebo. It's your brain making it feel like it's burn-in. That's why listening to...- Yoshi948

I also rely on the site. But if you have a question, you can always private message that person to tell you more about an IEM, since threads are only for regular posts.- Yoshi948

Yep, that's what happens when you've tried many ear buds and burin-in. What the average consumer considers "amazing" will be decent by our standards. :joy:. Cheers!- Yoshi948

Oh. But have you tried Comply or SpinTips? There are also the JVC Dot Spirals too. Otherwise, it's bad to see that eartips don't work for you. It's all the matter of the perfect fit and isolation.- Yoshi948

To me, they also are the least bassiest IEM I've had (sub-bass wise). But even then, they have a fun sound signature in comparison to many other IEMs I've ever had which makes up for the "lack" of bass, which is concise and clear by the way. Also, the stock ear-tips don't help at all with...- Yoshi948

Are you talking about the LG Quadbeat 3s? Because those have been praised for being great IEMs for their price, as I can confirm owning them. Of course being that there are now better ones out there. However, at their time of release, they really were one of the best.- Yoshi948

Yep, 1clearhead described the soundstage to be similar to that of the MEMT X5. Seems like the DT200 is better overall for extended periods of listening, and better midrange with warm treble. Otherwise, I appreciate the impression you've given since it provided clarification between buying the...- Yoshi948
