Good portable device for Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear

I am currently looking for an mp3 player to use with my Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear and Sennheiser IE80 IEMs. I use a Samsung Note 3 for my portable listening, but it's just not doing the trick for me. Does anyone have any recommendations on a music player that will optimally drive these...

Audioengine D1 Premium 24-Bit DAC to drive AKG K7xx?

So from what I've read, the AKG's K series are very meticulous and controversial when it comes to headphone amps. Some people say you do not need an amp, and others say you need an amp that is greater than $500 to be driven. I watched a video from a youtuber called MKBHD and he really loves the...

    Review: NAD Viso HP50

I personally love these headphones, but I personally thought there needed to be a tad more sparkle in the trebles. I also thought the bass could have been a bit faster. I guess you would have to sacrifice mid range sound quality to get that though.

Can I turn my NAD Viso HP50 headphones into a headset with a microphone?

Because of the two 3.5mm jacks on the headphones, can I plug in a microphone, lets say the Vmoda Boompro microphone, into the jack I am not using to create a headset to use on my computer?

NAD Viso HP50 or Vmoda m100?

I am deciding between the NAD VISO HP50 and the V Moda m100. They both look really promising. I listen to mostly hard rock, symphonic metal, new age orchestral, and electronic dance and trance. I have medium size ears, but a pretty large head (I have to put a pair of bose oe2 on the largest...

    RCA or 3.5mm ?

The change in quality for these two isn't really in the type of input, but in the type of cable. Good cables = good sound quality. Bad cables = bad sound quality

    BEST 7.1 HEADSET

To be honest, I wouldn't choose a 7.1 headphone. It is just virtual surround sound, not the real deal. For gaming, go with the Astro A40s if you want to hear enemy footsteps in first person shooters. If you just want good overall sound quality, go with a headphone that has good sound stage.

Nintendo WII U or PS4 for my kid?

I would choose the Wii U. A ps4 is not very 6 year old user friendly and is a bit complicated to get around the menus. The Wii U has a big screen on the controller which I think he would find very fun. Also, many more Wii U games are centered around the younger audience. Sony likes to advertise...

I would go with the hp 50

NAD Viso HP50 : Another superb headphone from Paul Barton?

I've herd good things about this headphone, possibly being even better than the Sennheiser momentum over-ears. Definitly looking forward to trying these out.

    [REVIEW] RHA MA-350

I love these for $35 with a 3 year warranty, but my biggest gripe is the highs. Cymbals just sound like tin cans being clanked together. The bass is decently fast and has decent extension. Would recommend for a cheap alternative to earbuds that come with phones and mp3 players.
