  Is there a reason why this would be a better choice than a Modi?

I want to run the T90's with a Crack amp, but got no idea which DAC is suitable for it. I hear these headphones are very sensitive about the equipment that's used to run them, so I want to get the right one. Would a Schiit Modi cut it, maybe something in that price range?

I'm thinking Xonar DX for DAC and a Schiit Vali semi-tube amp. Still need to buy these too though. I like a bit more bass so I'm leaning towards the Vali instead of a Magni, as it's said tube amps give a warmer sound.

Hey thanks for the reply, but that wouldn't work on HE-400 headphones, because they got a different cable plug. I need another option, such as a desk mic or a quality clip-on mic.
