I have ordered a pair of comply tips, just waiting on them to arrive! The more I use the Grado's the more I see how they don't sound so bad with certain songs.

I just had a look on eBay and every single pair of Ie 800s were fake.. I am shocked Sennheiser isn't doing more to actively protect their trademarks.

Sounds like you need a faster internet connection :/ I have 50 down 10 up and have never had Tidal buffer a single time.

I know its not directly related to headphones, but I received an update to my Naim muso today and the app now supports Tidal directly. I guess this would also be coming to superuniti, etc very soon, if not already. 

I currently use IE 800's and have no complaints, however after buying a hifi system at  home I find myself not using me headphones as much. I ordered a pair of GR 10's and plan to sell my IE 800's if I am happy with the GR 10's. They will arrive this week, comparison coming soon :)

I would like to bring up the original question again..    My setup is Hifi Tidal streaming or ALAC files on my macbook air with a pair of IE-800's.    I have tested a few DAC's but to be honest, I can't hear a difference.    Does anyone else with a similar setup really hear an improvement?
