I had my tech complete the transformer swap and check over the rest of the amp. It received a clean bill of health. Well I just opened my SP Extreme. and thanks to this forum I was not surprised when I saw what was waiting for me inside. A PPX3 Plus Rev A board that appears to be in good condition. I drilled out the PCB Board in 2 spots that appeared to be safe and was able to remove the transformer cover...- Webrider

I have a Singlepower Extreme that I bought from Bob McBob a member on this site. I have never had a problem so far but it is not used much these days.
