Newbie needing help with a few audio terms
In the audio settings for a lot of games I get a few things which, while I do have a very basic understanding of what some of them mean, don't know if I should change from default or not. I'm talking about "buffer lenght"/"Latency", "Sample Rate" and "number of sound channels". Is there an...- vscratch

$200-250 gaming headphones?
Quote: That fits my budget well. How does it sound for both games and music? I plan on investing in a ~500$ audiophile phone in the future for music but the current priority is gaming. Would I need an amp to power it?- vscratch

$200-250 gaming headphones?
I'm ditching in-build mics. I want something that's mainly (90%) for gaming but also great for music. I'm getting a titanium hd card.- vscratch

Best Amp for Sennheiser PC360 + Titanium HD?
So I'll be fine without an amp? I swear I was told I'll need one if I went for the Titanium and not the Xonar. I'm such a noob. Since we're on the topic then, how would you say the PC360's sound quality fares as a gaming device first and music second?- vscratch

~300$ headphones
Quote: Oh, my bad. I read it wrong. The more feedback I get the more I think I should get 2 different headphones...But that means my budget has to be split in 2. I'm sure the 598 is excellent for gaming but it costs 250$ from amazon. I'm a fan of bass in music.- vscratch

~300$ headphones
Quote: I understand that I may have asked for too many 'pros' and disregarded the fact that different headphones have their ups and downs. I do want good positional audio for gaming but the quality of the sound is more important to me... Would you suggest I get 2 different headphones?- vscratch

~300$ headphones
Been looking into getting some decent sound with the rig that I'm currently building but am not sure what makes a good headset or what specs to look for. I am looking specifically for Mid/high-ranged full circumaural headphones that don't need/rely too heavily on an amp(although not...- vscratch
